What will we do?
We're gonna fight.
"Yoko, do you think we can take her?" I immediately took a fighting stance.
"We don't have much of a choice. Sorry you mangy fleabag, but you're not taking my life savings." My new best friend shouted at the werewolf.
,"Oh please, don't hand me that line. I don't respect you two. I know you're Nobles in disguise. You got more than enough damen moolah." The werewolf replied back to us while drawing another one of her throwing knives.
I shouted in full surprise. "We're not Nobles! I came from Podunk Nowhere. I get the feeling that doesn't matter to a lousy Thief."
"Seriously though, you two aren't Nobles in disguise? Whatever, I've been robbing Nobles in Disguise along the main road to the Capital for the past two weeks." The werewolf dismissed me.
"Yeah, we're just normal Backpackers. We're from Golden Bunny island, we're just out here to explore Parfait." Yoko explained.
"Who cares, you can at least byy me supper." The werewolf replied,, before firing the Digger at me.
I was barely able to dodge out of its way.
"Hey you're quick on your feet." The werewolf gave a slight grin.
"If you think she's fast, you should see me." Yoko shouted, before rushing forward and delivering a hard kick straight to the Wolf Woman's side. This caused the silver furred opponent to let out a canine whimper.
Thanks to the lessons I took on the boat, I knew it was now my turn.
"Hey, I'm going to give you one chance to turn around and leave us be. My special attacks have already destroyed Skullantula." I explained, before I took another step forward and yelled out, "Oni Fire!" And took in a big breath to let out a giant Fireball singing the werewolf's fur.
She quickly began trying to put small Flames on her jacket.
"Hey, this is my favorite jacket." She explained. "Wow, I see you two actually know how to fight, I'm impressed. Okay, now it's my turn. Lunar Slash!" She cried out, before doing a backflip, while in the air swinging her Clawed hands at Yoko. I watched as purple energy slash marks seemed to emit from where she cut into the air, before they flew right at my bunny girl best friend. The attack landed hard directly into Yoko.
I watched her fly backwards a few feet before she quickly recovered.
"Dang that was a strong attack. I think even with both of us, she might win." Yoko huffed.
"You got a couple of good licks on me, but now you're realizing I'm not an average bandit." The wolf girl smiled at us. "I'll tell you what. We can end this battle right now, if you each pay me 50 Moolah.
"Not a chance! I waited my whole life to get off my Island. I'm not going to let some scruffy oversized stray dog stop me!" Yoko's voice full of anger, before she began to do her multiple image technique that I had seen before.
However, our fight was interrupted, as a group of knights Came Crashing through the woods. There was nearly a dozen of them, all wearing different colored tabards over their armor. The tabards had a seal across their chest that looked like a 'T' inside of a 'Q'. They wore bucket style helmets, with large Grill like visors coming down and obscuring their faces entirely.
"Oh Shit! The soda can heads are here!" The werewolf shouted.
"Roxy La'bou your wanted for banditry by The Thirst Quencher Empire. The forward most knight spoke up.
"Yeah, I'd like to see how you jackasses would try and enforce it here in the Parfait kingdom." The newly named werewolf retorted back at them.
"And these two must be your cohorts." The main knight continued to berate all of us.
"We're not with her!" Yoko and I shouted out in unison.
"I'm not with them!" The girl who I now knew as Roxy also screamed at the same time.
"She's trying to rob us." Yoko protested to the army.
"A likely story, you two will face death!" The head Soldier yelled at us.
"Lunar Sweep!" The wolf known as Roxy cried, before swinging her foot in a wide arc towards the knights. Similar to her Lunar Slash, a large purple wave seemed to be created by her foot. The arc of energy slammed into the troops, knocking them all backwards, and off their feet. She immediately ran past Yoko and I, off into the woods.
"Hey, where are you going?!" I yelled at her.
"Running away before they get up. You two really are from nowhere Villages, aren't you? If you don't want to be captured, or killed you might want to run too." She yelled back at us.
We gave small Shrugs, and ran in the direction she was running. I glanced back at soldiers, who started to pick themselves up.
"Why are you following me?" The wolf girl called back at us.
"Because we're scared, and not thinking." I explained.
"Fair enough. By the way, I guess the cat's out of the bag, names Roxy. The werewolf said with a bit of excitement in her voice.
"Mina, are we really going to follow a Bandit?" Yoko asked, while keeping Pace with me.
"Right now, we really don't have much of a choice. So who the hell are those guys?" I shouted forward to the thief.
"They're Thirst Quencher soldiers. The Thirst Quencher Empire's border is only about five miles east of the main road. That whole country is messed up. I was living there for the last few months, until the heat got a little too hot for me. So I started moving my business into the Parfait kingdom. She shouted back to us.
"So you are nothing but a lousy Bandit." Yoko berated, almost catching up to Roxy at this point.
"Well sorry,Hhick girl. I didn't get the luxury of living on a remote resort island my whole life. In the real world, life's tough. Sometimes you have to do bad things." Roxy's response was nonchalant.
"Why should we keep following her?" Yoko looked at me concerned.
"Do you want to take on an army of soldiers, Yoko? Right, so we're going to just stick with her until we can break off." I replied back.
We kept running for a short while, before we came to a clearing, which had a very strange site sitting in it. It looked like a mixture of an old-timey train caboose, and a stagecoach. Up on the top where the stagecoach driver would normally sit, and pulled the reins for horses, instead was a steering wheel with a long drive shaft. The shaft went down into the inner workings of this large wheeled machine.
"Come on they're going to catch up to us any second, hop inside." Roxy commanded, as she effortlessly flipped up on top of the Transportation machine.
"Oh wow, you have an auto carriage!" Yoko stopped to admire it, "but I bet you stole it."
"Hey, i'll have you know I bought this, with stolen money." Roxy answered Yoko's question.
I quickly stepped up on the hanging set of metal stairs that led to the side door of the auto carriage. After entering I scanned the interior. It was carpeted, with a large bed, Booth with a table. On the front end, built to the wall was a set of drawers, and two doors.
We didn't have much time to really look around, as we heard a large engine turn over. The auto carriage rumbled to life, that shook us off balance. It made us land inside the cabin. As the transport started to pick up speed, the momentum caused the open door to slam behind us. We struggle to our feet, and scrambled towards the eating Booth to sit down.
We sat there looking out the window, watching the forest start to go by faster, and faster. I started watching the sunset, before Yoko decided to break the silence.
"Look, I know you're right and that we didn't really have much of a choice, but having to stick with this woman. You know that this is definitely someone we shouldn't be trusting." She tried to reason with me.
"I know what you're saying, that's why we're only going to stay with her for tonight. First thing in the morning we're out of here. I think we should probably sleep in shifts, in case she tries to rob us." I assured the bunny girl.
Yoko gave me a sharp nod of agreement. We breathe thed a sigh of relief, while waiting for the massive vehicle to stop. The Sun finally went down, however it seemed like this Roxy woman was still driving.
"You know these auto carriages move pretty fast. They're supposed to be faster than a dozen horses. So we had to have lost all those soldiers by now." Yoko started growing concerned again.
"Do you think she's driving us directly into a trap? Y'a?? I grew a bit worried as well.
"She could be, but as fast as we're going, if we tried to jump out we might get badly hurt. Damn what do you think we should do?" Yoko was starting to freak out.
"Well maybe-" I was cut off by a crackling tinny voice. We suddenly realized that there was a speaker attached to the opposite wall next to the door we came through. It was Roxy, her voice was coming through it. I was reminded of old timey speakers from around World War II era.
"Hey I know it's getting dark already. I just want make sure it's safe. Those soda can heads has some really powerful war machines. Yeah, and I'm kind of afraid that they might have a couple of them after us. So I'm trying to find some splits in the road, and drive for at least another hour... Hey look, I know we got off on the wrong foot. You're going to have to trust me on this though." With that there was a click, and the speaker went dead again.
Yoko and I looked at each other, a weird uneasiness in both of us.
"Well we both wanted to see the world, and go on an adventure. I guess danger is included." I tried to be positive.
We decided to talk a little bit of strategy in case we had to overpower Roxy. Her and i also discussed ideas on how we could figure out where exactly we were, and how we could get back on the right path to the Capital. Before long, the screeching of iron on iron echoed out. The auto carriage ground to a halt. The engine shut off, and a few minutes later the carriage door opened, as the Werewolf Bandit walked in.
"Well damn, I'd say this was a hell of a day for all of us, wasn't it." The bandit gave a wide toothy grin.
"You tried to rob us!?!" Yoko barked.
"Calm your tits carrot breath." Roxy answered back.
Yoko was out of the booth now, face bright red, her eyebrows narrowed down in anger.
"Mangy fleabag. You're not a werewolf, you're a mutt!" Yoko started arguing with Roxy.
"Big scary words from the little bunny girl. If you want to finish what we started earlier." The wolf woman wasn't intimidated.
"I don't have a problem with that." Yoko answered, her guard up.
I'm gonna say this first. I'd rather get some damn sleep." Roxy replied not even really caring about Yoko's threat.
As she walked towards one of the doors, I had noticed when we first came in. She opened it up to reveal it was a closet and took out a hanger to put her jacket on.
"Look, I normally don't Target normal people for thieving. I just know that there's been a lot of nobles disguising themselves as commoners going along the main road to theCapitoal lately. I figured you two were dignitaries in disguise. I mean after all Onis are rare in this part of the world." She said pointing at me. "And I know Golden Bunny Jsland is a normal stop off from Nautilus down there. I've only been living around these two kingdoms for the past 2 years."
"So you're not from around here?" I asked.
"No, I ran away at 10 years old, and I've been on my own ever since." She said untying the front of her corset. She let it fall to the ground, allowing the both of us to see her bare breasts. She had large areolas that were free from the soft fur that's covered the rest of her breasts.
"So then, how did you become a werewolf?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, I got attacked cuz I was out in the road on a late night when I was 12. A feral werewolf attacked me. I did manage to escape, but unfortunately he had bitten me. Luckily never went feral." Roxy shared with us.
"Wow, that's crazy!" My eyes lit up.
This was an insane kind of world with those kind of dangers and creatures wandering around. It actually was exciting me.
"Yeah it's no biggie." Roxy finished disrobing by pulling her pants and underwear off. Letting them drop in a pile on the floor on top of her corset.
We got the full view of her nude body. I could make out the edge of her folds through her thin fur around her crotch. She had a very nice hourglass figure. I had to remind myself to calm down.
That's when she began to change. First her fur began to pull itself into her skin. Her body started glowing, before she morphed quickly down into the shape of a humanoid woman.
She looked like a beautiful almond-faced young woman with, that hourglass figure, and the same long spiky silver hair that she had as a werewolf. The hair hung down to her ass. She still kept her silver wolf ears, and tail. I also noticed that she had manicured fingernails that were black, just like her wolf claws. My admiration was cut off however.
Yoko tshrieked. "Oh my God she's hot!"
The naked wolf girl laughed with that same sharp voice.
"Hey thanks, carrots. I can tell you girls aren't too bad either. So are you two like best friends, or girlfriends, or what!?" She asked us.
"Well, hi Roxy. My name is Mina. I was nearly killed in a storm, howe ver I was rescued by the goddess Riesa. By pledging to be her follower, she would let me live. O was iven a second chance at life, to get to discover the greater outside world. As a follower of Riesa, I have begun to collect my harem, and Yoko is my first Harem mate." I decided to introduce myself formally.
"Ooh harem ,kinky... No, I've heard of Riesa. I've seen some of them harems. Yeah when I was a teen I was working at a bar, and the owner had a harem. He was one of Riesa's disciples as well. They were really nice." She replied.
"Why are you being so forward about this kind of stuff?" I asked.
"Don't know, don't really see you as much of a threat. Look I jumped the gun back there. My bad." Roxy answered, walking towards the large bed.
"Is she for real?" Yoko blurted out.
"I think so." I replied back just as dumbfounded.
"Hey look, everybody makes a mistake. I'm a bad girl. But I just feel I'd rather be more real with people. I've been out on my own since I was 10. I make connections with people, and I keep moving on. Guess I'm just a lone wolf." Roxy replied, while crawling into the bed.
Yoko shouted at her. "You can drop the cool girl act! You're not impressing us."
"Oh come on carrots. Come to bed." Roxy beckoned us over. ,"Are you afraid the big bad wolf might eat you in the night." She put extra emphasis on that eat.
"You're a weirdo." Replied Yoko.
"And you're easy to pick on." Roxy snapped back.
I had to admit, I was having trouble trying to keep from laughing at the two of them going back and forth.
"Mina, do you want to stick to our plan?" Yoko asked me.
"I'm just so tired. If she's going to rob us, she's going to rob us. I just don't have the energy left Yoko." I admitted letting my entire body go limp.
"Oh thank god!" Yoko yelled, as she too went limp. "I am just so freaking exhausted."
D"Y, douYo"Yo you know how much energy it takes to be in my wolf form? I've been doing that for hours." Roxy breathed a sigh.
Roxy fell backwards into bed, causing her covers to fly up as she landed. Yoko was already running to the bed, ripping her clothes off, before she jumped in as well. Without even thinking I followed suit. Landing on the soft large pillow bed while I curled up next to Yoko. I snuggled in tight against her back, before sleep tookme.
When did I wake up?
