Way too much testing, late for class.

Further testing showed that a complete "command" could not be wiped off, but crossing it out made it vanish and so did making it meaningless. ("No claws" made claws vanish, the hand be normal, and the words erase themselves.)

Some careful testing proved the marker could heal injuries and some very careful testing showed that words could be cut off, certainly with magic claws but probably also with desperation. It was harder than normal to injure skin near the writing, but it was possible.

Physical commands affected nearby areas best, unless specified. "Claws" on one hand gave claws to one hand, "claws on both hands" on one hand gave claws to both hands but made the hand with writing feel stronger.

Mental effects gave mental sensations nearby unless specified and fuck that. Megan's "clever" foot was unhappy and Megan was very very willing to cancel that command and never think with her foot again.

Note to self: Give bullies emotional body parts.

Oooh, that made Megan think of things other than the marker. She realized she would be in trouble for staying in the bathroom forever.

"Pretty girl" on her hand made her forearm look nice, but the effect died off as it went up past her elbow.

"A boy." Manly hand and forearm, sort of, but she wasn't much stronger as a guy than as a girl.

That's not how words work! A boy is a boy! This hand is "boyish!" Stupid marker!

...Nice. Megan wore loose clothing, but it was now very uncomfortable in more places than she expected.

Megan cancelled that one and told herself she would explore it later. (Boys act fucking weird as goddamn fuck, what are the mental effects of being a boy? Yeah, test that later.)
