Wave Tom off

Before he can get to me I gesture to the closed office door and shake my head sternly. His smile evaporates and his stride hitches. With a small nod turns around, finding a reason to go back into the restroom for a while.

Good call, Tom.

Five minutes later Sydnee leaves the office fighting back tears, not making eye contact with anyone. A few minutes later Victoria exits the office and says, "I'm going out for lunch." Then she is gone.

A while later I confirm with Rachel that Sydnee was indeed fired, for what we have no clue.
