Warren waits to find out.

Warren walked around the basement nervously time was running out and he knew it. By his math he didn't have long before his heighten intelligence faded what was worse though was what he didn't tell the others before they left. Warren believed that there was a chance that when the boost faded that not only would his extra intelligence go away but that his normal intelligence would as well due to the effects on his brain from expanding and condensing it.

His best hope was the modifications he made to the cerebral dampener or as he now called it the cerebral manipulator. With the modifications made Warren believed that he could not only control someone's mind but alter them as well. The thing was he needed the magic he sent Andrew and Johnathan to get before he could test it and this test was not one he could afford to fail. The goal of using magic with the device was to make a loop that would keep going off itself so for example once he used it on himself to alter his mind it should stay that way forever.

Warren loved the idea of staying this way forever and loved the thoughts he had of how he could lose this new version of the cerebral dampener. Warren had realized that if they had used the dampener as planned it would have worked but only for a short time the problem was two fold. 1 the dampener had limited power and 2 any one you used it on would be mentally fighting inside thats why the modifications were important. Once used on someone let's say his ex it would begin altering there mind to believe what ever they were doing was ok with them. Yes at first there'd be some push back inside but the more the person tried to fight back the more there mind would began to believe what they were doing was right. Warren liked to think of it as mental quick sand as the more one struggled the faster they'd give in and Warren knew one slayer who would definitely fight back.

But all those thoughts of what he would do would have to wait cause if Andrew and Johnathan didn't bring the magic soon that's all they would be thoughts and very likely some of his last. Suddenly Warren heard the door of the basement opened and in came Andrew and Johnathan.

"What took you guy's so long ?" Warren said to his friends worrying.

"Please tell me you got the magic it's important" Warren said with panic not seeing the jar.
