Warm welcome

As you open the door, there’s a happy shout from inside. Before you can react, a blur hits you in the chest and knocks you onto your back. There’s a giggling weight on your chest, and as you shake off the surprise, you hear the others laughing. You find a grinning Hayley atop you, laughing as she hugs you.

“You’re back! We missed you, Greg!”

You chuckle, hugging the red headed dwarf. “I can tell! That’s an impressive greeting, Hayley…”

She giggles, climbing off you. Marin helps you to your feet, and dusts you off. There’s a definite skip in Hayley’s step as she leads the group back inside. As everyone shrugs off their packs, the other girls show up to greet you. Everyone shares hugs and greetings, and then moves to the living room, where you introduce Julie. For her part, the petite human girl seems excited to meet everyone, with her gaze lingering especially upon Lylah.

You chuckle, remembering that Julie seemed especially interested in the wolf girl’s ‘extra equipment’, and you wonder how long before they slip off together. She definitely seems to fit in right away, with everyone doing their best to make her feel welcome. Naia offers to give Julie her room, explaining that she’s happy to share a room with her sister anyway. Aisha agrees, and Julie thanks them both.

As the conversation continues, Sanni slides over and basically curls up in your lap, wrapping herself around you. She smiles when you put your arms around her, and she lets out a satisfied sigh as she rests her head on your shoulder.
