Wands Gone

It was gone.

Ginny's hand grasped at nothing but air where her wand had been moments ago. Panic shot through her like a lightning bolt as she whipped her head around, searching the banks of the stream. Draco's eyes widened in horror as he realized the same about his wand. The reality of their situation crashed down on them like a dark curtain. They were naked, unarmed, and **** in a place where the most basic of spells had been a lifeline.

"Bloody hell," Ginny hissed, her eyes darting back to the spot where they had left their wands. "What do we do now?"

Draco's face was tight with concern, his eyes narrowed in thought. "We need to find them. Without magic, we're sitting ducks for any creature that sees us."

They scoured the area, searching for any sign of their missing wands. The damp earth held no clues, the surrounding foliage too dense to reveal any tracks. Ginny felt a twinge of fear in her stomach, the vulnerability of their situation weighing heavily upon her. The lightness from their recent encounter had dissipated, replaced by a gnawing anxiety.

Draco handed her one of their fishing spears. "Here. Just incase."

Ginny took it with trembling hands, the weight of the wooden spear feeling inadequate against the unknown dangers of the island. They started their search in earnest, calling out to each other as they moved through the underbrush. The jungle was eerily quiet, as if holding its breath, watching them. The tension grew with each step, the fear of the unknown creeping up their spines like a cold, unseen hand.

After what felt like hours, Ginny's voice cracked as she called out, "Draco, I found something!" Draco rushed over, his eyes lighting up when he saw a glint of light in the underbrush. It was his wand, slightly buried in the soil, as if it had been thrown. He grabbed it, a sense of relief washing over him.

"Good catch, Weasley," he said, though there was no malice in his tone, only genuine appreciation.

They continued searching, their eyes peeled for any sign of her own wand. The sun had begun its descent, casting long shadows across the clearing and painting the sky in hues of pink and orange. Ginny felt a growing sense of desperation, her nakedness suddenly feeling less like an adventure and more like a liability

As the light dimmed, the jungle grew more ominous. The buzz of insects grew louder, and the distant calls of unidentifiable creatures echoed through the trees. Ginny's heart raced as she clutched the fishing spear tightly, her eyes scanning the underbrush for any sign of danger.

They stumbled upon a small clearing, and there, in the middle of it, lay her wand. It was as if the island had decided to play a cruel joke on them, placing it in the open where they could easily spot it. Ginny's eyes lit up with hope as she dashed towards it, the spear still in hand.
