Walking the Catwalk pt. 3
Delia began to grow frustrated at how many things there were to keep track of. She’d come up with what she thought was a brilliant plan. Still, it required her to simultaneously monitor and avoid the drone she was following, count her steps while keeping them regular, quick, and quiet, and, as much as she didn’t want to, focus intensely on the vibrations between her legs as they became more and then less frequent. The fact that she was growing increasingly exhausted as the challenge went on made it even more difficult to focus her attention fully. When the vibrations completely stopped, she let out a quiet sigh of relief and stopped, watching as the drone, which had been steadily widening the gap with her since she started following it, continued into the distance.
She turned around and looked back the way she came, hoping that there wouldn’t be another drone coming too closely on the same route as the first. She started heading back the way she'd come, trying to match the stride length she’d used while following the drone. Unfortunately, going the other way meant even more information to keep track of, as she also needed to recall her initial step count and, instead of just monitoring the drone she had been following, now she had to keep watch for any new drones that might cross her path without any hints from the behavior of the drone she was following. Part of her wished that she’d had the additional bandwidth during her initial pass to focus on the intersections where the drone she was following hadn’t been doing its sweeps so that she’d know which hallways had intersecting patrols. Unfortunately, the intersections had all looked too similar. During her first pass, each one had forced her to either rush through to avoid intersecting with drones or wait for one to pass, causing her to fall even farther behind the one she was following. On her second pass, she had to lean around every corner before crossing into an intersection to check for any incoming drones.
When the step count of her second pass reached half that of her first count, she started looking around and chose the closer of two available four-way intersections. She looked down the two intersecting paths, searching for any signs of drones. Once she was reasonably certain there wasn’t anything coming, she chose one of the two routes at random and started walking, relieved that she no longer had to count or measure her steps, though she still needed to focus on the vibrator between her legs, which had become a great deal more persistent. She traveled down the hallway just long enough to realize that the vibrations had started becoming less frequent, at which point she flipped around and started walking back the way she came. Shortly after she passed the point where she’d turned onto the new route, she found the pulsing between her legs getting increasingly constant, to the point where the vibrations eventually reached a point where they never fully let up, instead beginning to alternate between stronger and weaker vibrations.
If the pulsing had been distracting before, it was maddening now. Despite her many years as a single woman, she was not someone who engaged in self-pleasure frequently, so while the sensations weren’t completely unfamiliar, they were not something that she was especially accustomed to. Her body was increasingly starting to fill with a molten heat as the pleasure from the vibrations rippled through her core. Her breath grew increasingly ragged, and she began to hear a faint groaning that accompanied the more intense pulses. She realized the sound was coming from her, and the desire to rip off both the constricting corset and the vibrator sharpened in the same moment. Her legs grew rubbery, and she began leaning more heavily on the catwalk beside her. Ahead, she could see signage for a supply area, but her attention was increasingly focused between her legs as her core muscles pulsed and flexed in response to the vibrator’s increasingly relentless pattern of delivering pleasure. When Delia heard a loud feminine scream of pleasure, she had to take a moment to realize that it was not her own voice yelling out. When she confirmed it was, in fact, not her own voice, it caused just enough of a surge of panic for her to fight through the pleasure and lurch to the supply area.
When she emerged into the supply area, which was essentially just four supply-cabinet-filled rooms off the hallway, forming a square around a four-way intersection, she immediately noticed the drone dashing around one of the rooms. Unlike the drones she’d encountered so far, which had a regular pattern, this drone was moving a good deal faster and was moving in a frantic searching sweep around the room, sweeping through the library-like lines of storage cabinets. She guessed that one of the other women had beaten her there, but something – likely the scream she’d heard – must have alerted the drone. She wondered if the drone had already captured the culprit and was double-checking, or if the other woman was still present. Her question was answered when she looked into the room opposite the drone’s search and found Serena, looking haunted as she crouched with her back to the wall, her body clearly held tight to resist the quaking vibrations that were having a potent effect on the small woman, whose abdominal and pelvic muscles seemed to be almost seizing in response to the vibrator. As she approached the purple-haired woman, the other woman looked up in shock, and Delia realized she had clearly been crying. It didn’t take her more than a moment to recognize Delia, but the moment of recognition clearly cost her focus, and the other woman let out a small moan.
Delia looked with panic towards both of the room’s doors, but there was no sign that the drone had heard Serena’s moan. Delia lowered herself onto her knees in front of the other woman and put her hand on the smaller woman’s shoulder. She was surprised to realize that, even from just a few feet away, she could only barely hear the sound of the other woman’s vibrator pulsing in a pattern matching her own. The vibration of her own device seemed especially loud to her, and she’d been concerned that the sound might draw the attention of the drones, but if the noise level was the same as what she was hearing from the other woman, perhaps that wasn’t a risk. She briefly considered if that had actually been a favor from C2, but dismissed the idea of the sadistic robot doing anything that could be helpful. What was definitely a risk was the fact that, with the way the other woman was writhing while trying not to, it seemed likely that Serena’s response to the device would eventually draw the drone’s attention, especially if it eventually gave up on the room it was searching and began to sweep the other three. Still, she risked whispering to the other woman.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
It took a few moments for the other woman to compose herself enough to answer.
“Not hurt. Just… So much.” She whispered.
“Did you find it?”
“In the room… drone’s in. Think the… far corner. Got too strong… when I got close. Couldn’t… Couldn’t hold back. It’s definitely a… mmm… different feeling than what I’m used to.” The woman said, panting, finishing with a quiet, frustrated giggle.
Delia considered her options. On the one hand, with all the supply cabinets around, she could probably find something that she could use to distract the drone but, while she guessed that the newly made woman was likely more sensitive at the moment than she was, she had no way of knowing if her control over her own voice would hold if the pulses ramped up enough to push her over the edge, especially if she was also engaging in a frantic search for the hidden key card. Part of her briefly considered that, if she made noise right where Serena was, the drone might discover her and end its search, but she immediately dismissed the thought. She wasn’t going to sacrifice one of her workers to win some sadistic game.
But then, isn’t that exactly what you’d be doing if you took the card? She thought to herself. After all, from the look of her, she’s not going to be able to get anywhere near that card, or any of the others, if there’s a drone anywhere nearby.
Delia realized the unfairness of throwing Serena and Jacqueline into a scenario where they had to be stealthy while dealing with a type of pleasure that was completely alien to them. The vast majority of women would have at least some practice from however many years they had lived at home with parents or with roommates, but the two former men who’d had their new anatomies and a whole new set of hormones and nerve connections for less than a few hours likely had no chance of sneaking by the drones when they were stimulated at maximum strength. Even at this distance, Delia was having trouble focusing herself. There was no way the newly feminized women would be able to slip by. At least, not without help.
Delia let out a sigh and looked the other woman in the eye, waiting for a reaction.
“Listen. Can you move?” The other woman nodded, and Delia watched her closely for any sign of hesitation. “When I say ‘Go’, you go that way; I’ll go the other way. I’m going to make a distraction. You go for the card.” She said, pointing to one of the room’s entrances.
“Wait. No. I’ll distract. Already got a penalty.” The other woman gasped.
“Doesn’t matter if you can’t get close to the card without orgasming your brains out. You get the card. I’ve got a decent strategy for finding another.” She grabbed the woman’s face and forced her to look her in the eye until her resistance gave way.
She had known the man Serena had been for as long as he had worked at the Roost, had been part of his hiring interview, spoken with him at length during the occasions when Delia had covered for Jacqueline doing managerial work at the restaurant, played together at employee game nights, and even had a hand in introducing him to Sarah. Their interactions outside of work were minimal, but they knew each other well enough to trust each other. Serena could see the fierceness in the other woman’s eyes and knew it was the same weary, forced exuberance that kept Delia smiling when she cheerfully asked who was sticking around for game night after a nightmare of a holiday shift.
“We’re getting through this.” Delia said with a smile, then, drawing herself up, gave Serena a nod, which was quickly returned, and whispered, “Go!”
Delia moved as quickly as she could in the other direction without making noise. As she went, she stopped, opened one of the supply cabinets, and found the first solid object she could find: a metallic pipe fitting she figured she could hurl a decent distance. She moved into the other room, able to hear the sound of the searching drone that was now directly across the hall, and threw the pipe fitting as hard as she could into the far corner, before running to the corner opposite where she’d thrown it. The pipe fitting crashed against one of the storage cabinets, making an unholy racket, and the whirring sound of the drone immediately grew louder as it abandoned its former search and moved to investigate the new noise.
Ignoring every cautious bone in her body, Delia raced to the door that the drone was about to enter, timing her speed with completely accidental perfection that brought her to the door just as the drone passed by and, with reflexes tuned by years of video games and reflex-based card games, slapped the button on its back before it could register her approach. The drone’s eye extinguished instantly, but it hovered for a few breaths before falling to the ground with a distinct thud that seemed excessive for the size of the drone. Delia barely noticed as the remainder of her momentum had her rushing into a bank of storage cabinets, which rattled and shook as she bounced off them, managing to take the collision in a way that reduced the impact, allowing her to stay on her feet. She closed her eyes and leaned against the lockers, catching her breath as the combination of the sudden adrenaline and the vibrations between her legs finally pushed her over the edge, and she felt the crash of a long-delayed orgasm wash over her. She tried to keep quiet as the waves of pleasure peaked and finally began to subside. For a moment she worried that she would roll right into another one when an exhausted voice whispered loudly from the other room.
“I got it. Thanks, I owe you o…” and then the voice and the vibrations between her legs both disappeared at once. Relieved at the respite from the constant pleasure, Delia sat and let herself breathe for a moment, the post orgasm glow making her chuckle a little at how ludicrous the situation was. She’d just orgasmed while incapacitating a drone to create a distraction for her male-turned-female coworker to find a secret key card to a spaceship. While the orgasm had been proof positive enough for her that this was not a dream, it still strained the imagination. When she finally managed to recover her breathing enough to open her eyes, she saw the familiar holographic text floating over the downed drone.
Reward: Drone Slayer! – Next Challenge Advantage
Delia let herself laugh at her small victory for a few minutes before pulling herself back together and searching for another drone to follow, dreading having to start her process all over again but determined to pay closer attention to the intersections this time. Before she left the area, though, she paused and went back to rifle through the supply cabinets until she found a case of bolts that she could use to replicate her earlier distraction. So equipped, she began her search again.
