Walking by Abby's room

You walk slowly away from Svetlana's room, occasionally sneaking glances over your shoulder to see if the door opens again, but it doesn't appear that Svetlana is going to call you back, as events might happen in a romantic movie. Perplexed, you drag your feet, disappointed that even spending an entire day with Svetlana, that she hasn't quite warmed up to you yet, which makes you contemplate using your mind control ring on her.

You're almost back to your own bedroom, when you pass the room next to yours, the 1 that belongs to Abby. Her door is open and she's sitting on the bed with her bare feet pointing at you while reading a thick novel in her pajamas. You stop in your stride outside her room and stare at her, waiting for her to look up from her book.

A few minutes in silence passes, with Abby flipping the pages on her book a couple of times, before she finally acknowledges your presence. "I can feel you staring at me," she says without looking up.

You don't say anything back, continuing to stand there outside Abby's room, until she relents and looks up. She shrugs and sets her book aside on the bed face down to keep her page. "Okay. What is it? You want to come in? You don't need permission, you know."

You shake your head, and Abby climbs off the bed and walks over to you.
