Walk past him

He is sobbing so hard, he doesn't even seem to notice that you're there. You walk slowly past him and he never looks up. At the next corner, you glance back, for a moment wondering what would make anyone cry so hard, but you have your own problems. You continue on your way.

The water continues to get deeper, up to your waist, and you're starting to be glad your mother made you take swimming lessons as a kid. You might end up needing them if this goes on much longer.

You come to another split in the passage, one tunnel going to the right, the other to the left. Is this a dungeon, or a maze?
