Chapter 3

What do you do?
Walk in
You hear The Golden Cutlass before you even open the door. Yelling, slamming of glasses, crying, singing, and throwing up...familiar hallmarks of the best pirate drinking hole in hundreds of miles.
You spot a flash of bright red—even among the thieves and villains currently patronizing The Golden Cutlass, your captain is a danger worth watching. As she passes by you, you stop and stare, entranced by the beacon that is her fiery red hair. The scarlet color of her hair is how she got her name, but many pirates wonder if the blood she spills in battle would be a more apt reason. Captain Blood is known around these parts for her guile and quick wit. You wonder again why a captain as clever as her would have a meathead like Caesar as her First Mate.
Until now, you've never done anything to attract Captain Blood's attention. She doesn't even know your name, which has suited you just fine until now. Being a nameless crewmember is much safer than marking yourself as one with ambition (and thus a danger).
Entranced by the way she sashays through the tavern in her tall buckled boots, you think about how you could draw her attention.
There's one surefire way to get draw the Captain's interest...she loves a good barfight. You can start a brawl to get Captain Blood's attention.
How do you start a fight?
