Waking up
Hours passed and when I woke up, it was dark outside. I cautiously opened my eyes, trying to gather my bearings. The orc woman was still asleep, snoring lightly.
I began to slowly inch my way towards the exit of the tent, careful not to make any noise. But just as I was about to reach the entrance, the orc woman stirred and opened her eyes.
“And where do you think you’re going, little human?” she said, a drowsy smirk playing on her lips.
I froze, unsure of how to respond. But to my surprise, she simply yawned and stretched, completely unfazed by my attempt to escape.
“Don’t worry, I won’t stop you. But be warned, if you leave this tent, I won’t be able to protect you.”
