What did I expect?
Waking up (Mattahouen)
It's cold... I reach for my blankets, but I can't find them, so just curl into a ball instead. Come to think of it, my bed is really hard... groggily, I open my eyes, and blink a few times. Within a a second, im on my feet in a panic. I'm standing in some church, in my underwear!
"Hello?" I call out as I see a woman slumped up against a wall. There's no response. Out of curiosity, I cover myself as best I can and approach her.
She doesn't stir as I approach, so I kneel beside her and reach out to shake her awake. I gasp and fall back as I feel that she's cold as a stone. After a few minutes of rocking back and forth contemplating what to do, I get up and walk to the door.
"Let's not rob a dead girl..." I mutter to myself, as I push the doors open. My worries immediately compound as I see the enormous medieval castle sprawled out over the cliff face in the distance.
"Where the fuck am I?" I ask to nobody, as I sweep the more immediate surroundings. There's a few huge statues, and a courtyard over a rope bridge. I shrug, and head in that direction.
I hear a whoosh and a thud, and suddenly, a horrific amalgamation of limbs and swords stands before me. I scream, and before I have time to do anything else, I feel a sharp piercing pain in my stomach, and my world goes black.
