Wake up

Zack groggily woke up in the hospital. He felt something warm on his hand and saw another hand holding it. He traced the hand back to Chloe. Zack watched her sleep and admired how the sun reflected and illuminated off her silky red hair. "She looks so beautiful and peaceful." though Zack.

He admired her for some time while still holding her hand. He started pondering about what his dream was saying and should he tell Chloe about how he feels. He was broken out of his thoughts when he heard Chloe yawn.

Chloe saw Zack looking at her and blushed. "Hey hotshot. How are you feeling?" she asked.

"I had better days. My stomach is still sore from the punch. How long was I sleeping?"

"The doctor checked your ribs through an X-ray but I guess you were just dazed. You fell asleep in the middle of it. The nurses took you in here and I guess you were out for a couple of hours. The doctor might come by later to check on you." replied Chloe.

"Where's the rest of the gang?"

"At the police station. I told them that I would like to stay with you in case you woke up. "

Chloe then suddenly got nervous and was biting her lips. Her heart was pounding and she opened her mouth to say something until she heard a knock at the door. The pair looked towards the door and saw a doctor there.
