Wake in Layla's arms

Birds.

Ethan wakes to the chirping of birds.

For a moment, he doesn't know where he is, feeling something very warm and soft against him. Opening his eyes, it all comes flooding back.

Layla...

She's next to him, holding him, her eyes closed, still sound asleep. Looking at her now, she isn't the **** of nature from the night before. Still, the sight of her makes Ethan audibly swallow, the sound enough to stir her.

She looks at him, her eyes bright blue and gleaming. "Ethan..." her mouth makes a sweet smile, one that almost disarms Ethan's nerves "Good morning."

But he isn't sure who he's talking to yet. "G-Good morning, Mis-."

"Shhhh," she silences and assures him, "At ease. It's too early in the morning for that..." Leaning forward, she kisses him, a gentle lip lock that eases his soul.

After a small 'good morning' session of kissing, the two pull apart, Layla insisting Ethan take a second shower. "I might have missed a few spots..."

Doing as she says, still slightly under her thumb, Ethan gets in the shower, washing thoroughly. As far as he can tell she didn't miss anything. He feels oddly good considering the night he had, although his butt doesn't feel quite like itself.

Getting out of the shower, he gets dressed in his clothes from yesterday, now clean and dry, before heading downstairs.
