"God, mom, I don't need you to come to these appointments with me, I'm 29 for fuck's sake!" Candace Dumont said to her stepmom as the two of them waited in the examination room.
"Language!" Mrs. Dumont, her stepmother, snapped back. "And as long I'm the one paying all your medical expenses, I have a right to be here."
"I'm sorry, mom, I guess I'm just embarrassed about...my issue."
Mrs. Dumont placed a comforting hand on her stepdaughters shoulder, "You have nothing to be embarrassed about, Honey. And Dr. Bell will be a complete professional the entire time. Why don't you get undressed now, it'll save us some time once she arrives."
Candace nodded and began to take off her skirt.
