Waiting at the Airport

It is currently 1 A.M., You and Blue are currently waiting at the airport for Melody's husband Alex to land at the airport, and you are currently struggling to stay awake.

You feel Blue's arm on your shoulder, "Go to sleep Amber."

"I can't Blue." You stare at your PokeGear as you browse the internet, not really absorbing what you are looking at. But going through the motions helps to keep you awake. You also don't want to risk missing a message from Melody or Alex.

You are ignoring the messages from your Mother though.

"Amber." He grabs your shoulder and makes you look at him. "Go to sleep. I'll wake you when the plane lands." After a moments pause he surprises you by actually asking, "Please."

You are so surprised that you don't resist as Blue moves you into a lying down position, your head lying on his lap and using his legs as a pillow. You would argue with him but you are so drained that you fall asleep almost instantly.

[POV Blue]

As Amber falls asleep on your lap, you find yourself running your hands through her hair as you look down at her. You hadn't realized how exhausted she was when you reunited with her at the gym. But after seeing her chase after Melody and then make a mad dash to the airport her adrenaline finally failed her.

As for yourself, while you were tired, you weren't nearly as tired as Amber was. You had gone to sleep early before you challenged the gym and made sure to get a good breakfast. Still, even if you weren't trying to stay up you don't think you would be able to sleep anyway.

Your thoughts were honestly troubled. An occurrence you were not used to experiencing. Even more so since your troubled thoughts were due to what was happening to another person instead of yourself. Making it even worse was that your thoughts are focused on Amber.

You honestly found Amber fun, and not just because she was the best pussy you had ever fucked. And unlike Amber you were NOT a virgin when you met so you had some other experiences to compare it to. But when she finished you off in the Victory Lounge, aiming your cum at the Purple Haired Slut (whose name you honestly can't be bothered to remember) and used the slut's clothes to clean off your cock, you realized that Amber could be just as nasty as you.

A realization that made you feel something that you didn't know how to put into words. Emotions which were further complicated when you saw Amber help Melody towards the ambulance. While you usually didn't think much of Melody beyond your desire to fuck the hot Gyaru MILF, seeing her go into labor tonight made you realize something.

Or more specifically it made something REAL for you. In a few months, that would be Amber. She would go into labor, and you would be a father. While you will NEVER admit it out loud, you were self-aware enough to realize that the thought of fatherhood scared you.

You are starting to understand why many (if not most) male Pokémon Trainers don't bother to stick around or were even aware of how many children they had. And why your own father probably didn't stick around himself.

But if there were two things you were positive about it was this. You were going to be the best Pokémon Master of your Generation, and you weren't going to be your Father.

To your surprise you are more nervous about the latter than the former. The former just required you to be better than that gimmicky Baton Pass HACK. Sure, Baton Pass could be useful. But there was a reason the current Champion or Elite 4 didn't use Baton Pass. If the chain was broken you were DONE!

In a strange way, Baton Pass was almost an anti-meta strategy now. Everyone knew how risky and difficult it was to use, so few people bothered to learn how. But because nobody expected to face off against Baton Pass, very few people were prepared to counter it. Which is how trainers such as Brock could get completely swept by it. They just weren't expecting it and thus weren't prepared to counter it. A mistake you now know not to make. As for the latter problem...

You look down at Amber, your wife, sleeping on your lap as you continue to run your fingers through her hair. Beyond not running away you weren't sure what else to do about this problem. For the moment you didn't know what else you could do.

You remember Amber's comment from a few days ago. How she said that she couldn't 'do this alone'. Perhaps, simply not leaving and staying with her seemed to be a place to start. It wasn't perfect (and you demanded nothing less than perfection from yourself) but was a start.

You hear an announcement on the intercoms which brings you out of your inner thoughts. "Flight 3178 from Fushia City will be landing in 10 minutes." That should be Alex's flight. You consider waking up Amber but decide against it. You can let her sleep for a few more minutes.
