Waiting Nervously

The deputy headmaster had been diagnosed with cancer right after school had ended for the summer holidays.

The news that she was near permanently bedridden only spread out two weeks before summer ended and with that announcement was the headmasters decision that the new deputy would Summer.

The reason she was in the cafe she found the book was because she was going to meet with the headmaster, Lucy, about her role and what was going to be expected of her.

Now, as Summer had only announced her transition to become a women right before the summer holidays, She had not yet gone through with her transitional changes until just a few days ago.
