Wait

Leanne decided to hang around in the room and wait for the event to begin. A lot had happened since she arrived at Rosefield Manor and she could do with a bit of time to rest. She was looking through the boxes and trying to organise the contents a little better when, after a few minutes, the door opened and she heard someone entering. She was a little surprised and looked up to see a man standing in a clown outfit.

"Oh! Um... Hi." she said, but he didn't react. There was something disturbing about him, not least because of the way he just silently stood there. His costume was giving her the creeps too. Leanne didn't have a problem with clowns, but there was something sinister about this one. "A-Are you a resident? ...Or just visiting someone here?" Still there was no reply from the clown and Leanne was feeling more and more uncomfortable. "Well, the Halloween party doesn't start for another hour or so. You'll have to come back then."

Leanne was hoping the strange man would leave after this but he maintained his position, still not saying a word. Her anxiety was growing the longer the awkward situation went and she decided to just try and continue as normal, ignoring the clown's creepy behaviour.

'Fine! If you want to be a weirdo.' the young woman thought to herself. 'It's only a costume anyway.' She stepped out from behind the boxes and walked across the room. With every click of her heels on the hard wood floor Leanne could feel the sinister clown observing her closely. She turned around to face him and shuddered as he eyed her up and down. Slowly moving his head while inspecting her sexy outfit.

It may have just been her imagination but he also seemed to be standing closer now, which only increased her level of concern further still. She didn't want to stay in the room with this creep any longer than she had to. Maybe he was harmless but she didn't want to find out after what had happened to her so far.
