You're surrounded by a light forest, leaves slowly changing their colors with the season. The trees are a few meters from the river that calmly flows behind you. You and Tia sit down on the mossy ground facing the forest.

You're a little early. Aldis said his contact would arrive as dusk is setting, but it's still fairly light out.

"So... do you have any idea why Aldis would send us to meet here?"

Tia gets comfortable in her cloak. "Well, Aldis seems to be a well-respected person. Likely he will be protective of his reputation. Minor nobility and wealthy commoners generally care a lot about that stuff."

"Hmm, so what could he be doing that he feels safe sending us, yet not enough to do in Bellhollow?"

Tia doesn't seem to care much and closes her eyes to enjoy the last warmth of the day. "Could be a thousand things. Secret love letters, drugs, exotic goods. Anything worse he probably wouldn't send us."

"You seem to know a lot about this stuff."

She turns to look at you, suddenly seeming a little nervous. "I have met men like him before, that's all."
