Wait until morning

Kate thought about the next step looking out into the woods but hearing another cry she thought it was better for her to wait and maybe even read more of this journal. She on the way back saw one of the wolves body from earlier. She crouched down picking it up to carry back, “He will be through a lot. Maybe some breakfast will help!” she carried it back to the door where she heard a loud howl causing any wonderlife even a bear run away from scene; it literally ran straight past her in horror! Kate ignored it as she dropped it in the door and slamming it shut dropped it on top of the table looked back down at the journal.

She turned to the end to see a different hand had wrote the very last entry but under the same date as Damon’s. She sat down on the chair to read it, in a way she knew it wouldn’t be pleasant but she honestly if she could would have cried, “Thirty-first of October, ironic really people dream of vampires and werewolves but hate the grim reality. I am trapped at all sides and know one thing is for sure if I run they will follow me, so it is time. I am not blaming the sisters they were scared and as I sit on a bench in the church stare in front of a cross where I was joined by a priest. It was cold and dark but being the only one in here made me stand out even more. He was kind as he sat next to me spoke about sins which I laughed at. I simply asked whether he believed in monsters and demons agreeing I asked what if two monsters challenged each other. He laughed explaining that it never happens until I purposed the question of Wolves versus vampires. He responded with one is cursed to be a monster where another lives off the blood of the living. One has to change where another chooses to kill humans. He knew something wasn’t right and admitting I was a wolf; it doesn’t matter anymore I said I tried to be good but I couldn’t control it and he asked whether Vampired existed, I could only nod. He prayed to his lord as I replied that I was the last known wolf and Vampires were after me! I simply broke down. All my life I have ran but now today I die, they knew my scent and I could smell them. If I had a wish, I wish I could see Kate again, she seems the one to know what to say and do in this situation or Tanya because she would have a plan but it doesn’t matter anymore, I hope they have a good life if not I wish I said something to them to prehaps make it better, hopefully my descendant will be the one. My last order of business is this journal, I have instructed the priest to finish it and to pass it on my life story and tips for future wolves, be strong and remember that if you need something I will always be there for you!” Kate looked up from the book and clutching her coat to pull it in closer read the priests entry, “Damon sat there dejected as the door opened and hearing him whimper in walked the ten or so men in black, they walked in to wait for him. I tried to repel them but Damon just lifted his hand to stop, he knew it was his **** so I did the only thing I knew, I blessed him hoping god would take mercy but he wasn’t hopeful as he got up. I have always said that someone who walked out knowing they were going to die was always the bravest. I curse you vampires and hopefully the wolves will wipe these vermin out and if I find Kate or Tanya I will tell them of this man and how he suffered because of Irina!” Kate closed the book and getting up looked over to the picture of Irina and sitting back realised how each **** she has done or committed effected the others and for here she got up to say, “No more and this time I mean it!”
