Damian meets a new Kate

I woke up blood stained and next to the cabin from what I could see the wolf tried to get in (from the scratch marks) but had failed I looked down at my naked body to see the blood stains and dirt that now covered me and looking down there I saw the dead wolf bodies that by the look of the trail had been dragged here. "Kate, let me in!" I banged but the door was unlocked, it slid open and creeping there I was met by the warmth of the fire as I started to smell the cook of meat which was mixed in with the smell of spices. I ventured nearer to the smell as I saw Kate standing there at the stove frying the meat, "Damian, you are back!" she commented and turning around smirked staring at my body, "Well that is one way to greet me, maybe a bow tie next time!" I clutched my head thinking back to the night, "How do you feeling?" I shrugged before asking her, "How would you feel if your body completely broke and morphed into a hideous beast?" Kate dropped the journal onto the table before commenting, "I don't know but the journal gave me an insight of what it was like!"

"Why are you cooking me breakfast?" she turned back around and opening the journal said calmly, "Read the last few pages whilst you are in the bath, there is some clean clothes next to the towel!" I nodded smiling at her act of kindness as I started to read. I froze when he mentioned his attraction to Kate and Tanya whilst he mentioned my name, how could he have known? when I returned Kate stood their smiling as she put the plate on the table, "Read it?" I nodded before responding calmly, "I honestly didn't know, I hadn't read that far" she nodded, "Esme said that and what does the names Kate and Tanya to you?" I nodded as we sat there awkwardly, "So...the wolf is my great grandads reincarnated?" she shrugged before biting her lip asked, "Well one thing is clear, the wolf liked me. He kept dropping presents around the cabin, the dead wolves are the ones that killed Garrett!" I nodded feeling her coldness when she smiled at me, "Do you like me?" she asked causally and nervously I nodded, "I didn't really think I did last night but my wolf kept pumping this thoughts and reading that has caused this thing to click and I..." she smiled again before commenting, "Esme said you get nervous and waffle when you like someone, so it must be true!" I nodded as she held my hand in her dead cold ones, "How about this: you help me clean my lifestyle up and I help you with your wolf problem...and maybe we could try a relationship or something?" I nodded kissing her cheek, "Now come on we need to speak to Tanya!"
