Wait for the transport instead

You decide to wait out the two weeks so you could get onboard the passenger craft. Your nights spent in a hotel. Your days busy with the guests in the fuck-all-you-like.

After the two weeks end, you buy a ticket to the vessel, the flight leading to one of the busy spaceports scattered around the sector. There, you arrive with the belief things should be easier. But in reality, you have to face the same situation, just with different faces.

You end up as a pole dancer in one of the parts considered outside the station's jurisdiction. You are experienced enough to get out of trouble. You bend the knee to those who you have to, carefully building your network of friends, a few routes to escape always open. Even a gun at the ready for the worst type of cases.

All and all, it is not a terrible life. In fact, you enjoy all the attention your body brings you. But the questions "Who are you?" "Who wanted to enslave you?" "What happened to your vessel?" never leave your mind. Who knows? Perhaps in another lifetime, you will be able to answer them.
