Wait a little bit longer, to prepare yourself better.

You gulp as you're filled with a feeling of dread. Your classmates all go about grabbing their bags and heading off to their rooms, to grab what they need for the weekend at home. Miranda stays behind to talk to Nurse Riley about something, and Delilah tries to pull Jace off before he can say goodbye to you all, but he manages to stay long enough to do it anyway. He wishes you all a good weekend, too. Your classmates wave him goodbye, and then he lets Delilah pull him away and down the hall to maybe never be seen again.

Lexi skips over to you, wearing her backpack, and leans down to give the tip of your nose a quick little kiss.

"In case I don't see you on the way out, wifey!" She grins and gives you and Cameron a wave, before rushing out of the classroom and sprinting down the hallway towards her room.

You slowly shuffle over to the doorway, and stop just inside of it. You don't want to step out just yet. You feel like it won't be real if you stay inside for just a bit longer.

Cameron's leaning on the wall outside of the classroom, waiting for you so that you can head back to your room and pack up together. He notices you, and your expression, as you finally decide to take that step outside of the classroom to leave the chatting Miranda and Nurse Riley alone.

"H-hey, you look sort of freaked out." He says, as you step out of the classroom. "Is- is something wrong? Can I help at all, or is it sort of....."

He drifts off, waiting for your response, but you keep him waiting. He doesn't say anything about it again, but he sort of sets his jaw and gets this determined look.

The two of you eventually leave out from your room, backpacks filled with all the stuff you plan to take home for the weekend and locked room safely keeping the stuff you plan to leave here. For you, you didn't really get much packing done, you just sort of stood there while Cameron packed and then left without ever taking off your backpack. It's just the stuff you brought to and from First Aid class, basically. You make your way down the hallway, moving the opposite direction from most of the other people in the school who are all loudly flooding towards the exit, to go find the girls and face your fate.

You could try to get away and leave the university NOW, but even if you were able to, then they'd just do whatever they're planning to you next week. And it'd be after two more days of feeling all super worried about it. So, for now, you guess you're okay to accept this as what's got to happen, and make your way over to your fate. But that's when you notice that you're not actually the only person walking in the opposite direction from all of the other students leaving -- right behind you, Cameron's walking in pace with you. He wasn't hiding, you just weren't looking. You stop walking and turn around towards him, but keep your head facing the ground. Both hands clutch at your backpack straps.

"Cameron, you can go home for the weekend now please." You say in a small voice.

Cameron shakes his head. You wait for him to say something, but he doesn't, and you don't want to look up at him and see his face right now. So you just turn back around and keep walking through the halls, Cameron in tow the whole time.
