Wait, what the hell is that?

The couple exited the shop, and Arthur still didn’t have clothes. They walked together through the mall, looking for another store that they could try.

Wait! Stop, go that way! Arthur felt himself being **** bodily to march hard left, letting go of Mata’s hand. “Arthur? What’s up, you see something you like?” Mata asked confused. “Um, yeah.” Arthur covered. What the hell are you doing? He continued to March lockstep towards the far end of the mall. Look! See! Oh I haven’t seen one of these in half a millennium! Arthur tried to figure out what he was supposed to be looking at while his body continued to beeline past shops and kiosks, until finally he stopped.

He found himself standing in front of a kiosk which offered “advanced cleaning services for both you and your clothes!” Standing behind the thin counter was a amorphous ooze. It was blue, with a slight green tint around its edges. It had no face, no discernible body parts or features and had a small glowing chunk of.. something floating, suspended in the center of its body.

Arthur’s fist struck out, penetrating the ooze up to his elbow. He tried to pull his hand back out of the mass but couldn’t budge. The stone flashed, spinning wildly. As it spun it shrank. Arthur looked on in confusion. As it shrank it grew in clarity, facets appeared and in less than half a minute it went from a lumpy stone to a gem, blue in color that affixed itself to the ring in a setting that hadn’t been there a moment before. The ooze itself climbed up his arm. Nobody appreciates good craftsmanship, using you to clean dirty clothes. For shame. No I know it’s not your fault. Trust me this one is a good one. You’ll like him. The half of the conversation that Arthur could hear sounded very comforting but it wasn’t directed to him. It began dissolving his clothes. “What the fuck!?!” Arthur shouted. Oh don’t be a baby. Step into the cleaning chamber if you want some privacy.
