Better Get Started Then!

Vivian Has Texas Shipped Off

(Originally by Cheese111)

The mayor looked at her tiny prey with disdain. Every second with the puny sheriff in her office was one too much. She needed to be sure nobody would ever come across the weasel again. For a while she thought about just dealing with this herself. She hadn't eaten lunch yet and the tiny critter looked mighty appetizing. But the thought of eating something that all of her thugs had sat on at least once put the sheriff firmly off the menu. She needed someone or something far less scrupulous to ensure the weasel would vanish forever. Already a shortlist of names crossed her mind. Texas wasn't short on enemies in this town. But how does she get the tiny weasel to them without her screaming blue ****. She contemplated her options whilst using the puny sheriff as a stress ball, smiling whenever she forces a pained squeak out of the weasel.

Finally Vivian had a plan. She squeezed her little stress ball extra hard, crushing the shape out of the weasel. The mayor dropped her little toy on her desk and started rummaging around her office for the required items. She hunted down thick paper and wads of cotton. She deftly folded together a small box, intermittently slamming a palm or fist down on Texas to stop her from reforming into a shape capable of running away. The mayor couldn't recall the last time she had this much fun. She lined the small box with cotton and stuffed the sheriff inside. The thick padding stopped her from shaking about and made it hard to move. A last wad of cotton was stuffed in Texas' mouth, so she wouldn't draw any unwanted attention with her high-pitched squeaking. The sheriff looked up to the mayor in fear as the she folded the box shut and taped it down.

Smothered in her fluffy prison Texas can barely hear what's going on outside. Suddenly her world was shaken up as Vivian carried the small box with her. The sheriff could hear muffled words, but nothing could pierce the padded cell she was in. She was surprised to say the least the mayor would make her journey this comfortable. But she was no fool. The padding was only there to make sure no undue attention was drawn to the package. She tried to push aside the cotton wad crammed into her mouth, but there was barely any space to maneuver. By the time she'd pushed it away the courier was already out of town. He or she would be the only one that would hear her pleas. And knowing Vivian, the only people she'd trust a package like this to were her goons. The sheriff began tearing away some of the padding, letting in more sound. Fast hoofbeats told her what she feared already. She was being taken somewhere out of town. She could only hope there'd be a long journey ahead to give her a chance to escape. Then she'd be faced with a grueling journey back to town. Then she'd have to hope Abra was still around to reverse this curse. How did things get this much out of hand?

There was no more time for pity. The hoofbeats slowed down and came to a halt. She heard the courier dismount, her boots thudding on the ground. A voice rang out. It was too garbled still to determine who it was, but stuck in the box the sheriff could listen in. What words she could make out didn't fill her with confidence. "present", "disappear", "never seen again", "have fun". The box shook wildly again. A short knife poked in, scaring Texas half to ****. It slid through the tape and the box folded open. The piercing sunlight blinded the sheriff. As her eyes adjusted she saw...

This Can't Be Anyone Good...
