Visiting Vegas

“Carol, you’ve got to understand. Even if it’s true that you’re from the future…” Said Karen.

“If?” Spat Carol.

“…When you see a naked woman in our time who says she’s from the future, it does look crazy.”

“So because I’m ‘crazy’ you’d let me out to die here, is that it?”

“I, I, erm…” Karen looked away, rather ashamed of what she said.

“And you, Cindy!” Carol started crying again from the anger. “I really thought you were a bitch, but you were ready to leave me behind. You couldn’t wait until you were free from this ‘lunatic’, and leave without a word. Honestly, I’m the most disappointed in you. I really thought you were my friend.”

“Carol…” Cindy tried to hold her tears, but lost that battle.

“Save it! I’ll take you to Vegas, so you’ll finally be released from me.”

The girls walked over to Carol, planning to mount the horse. “Whoa, you can’t ride him like this. The smell scares him off.”

“But what are we supposed to do now.”

“Just, give me one second.” Carol stepped off her horse and walked out of the cave.

“Here, sit on this!” Carol found a large piece of wood and a rope outside, and tied it to the horse’s torso.

“Y-you want to do the skateboard idea from before..” Asked Karen.

“It’s that, or walking behind me for the rest of the trip.”

The girls sighed reluctantly, and sat on the wood.

“Go horsie!”

A while later, the three arrived at the Las Vegas sign, several onlookers staring at the three naked girls, two of which were now covered in sand. Carol untied the robe from the horse, and spoke to Cindy and Karen without looking at them.

“We’re finally here. I’m sure you two will find a ride home.” She spoke coldly. “Farewell.” And with that, she rode off into Vegas.
