Visit from those who matter most
Thankfully, Mabelle didn't need to wait long for that to happen.
"Oh my." Carol greeted, choosing to go with a rather modest outfit that further accentuated her elderly appearance. As for Caroline, she was dressed in her normal attire. "How are you feeling, Mabelle?"
Mabelle sat up.
"Like the old woman I was meant to be." Mabelle announced, both women breathing a sigh of relief. That was the last real hurdle here and now it had been crossed.
"I'm happy to hear that." Caroline remarked as she breathed a sigh of relief. Yep, everything had all gone to plan and she couldn't be happier here.
