Mabelle looked over her small abode.
A far cry from the room that she was borrowing from Carol, it was welcomed in every sense of the word. Even with all the boxes for her stuff that needed to be unpacked.
"Something the matter?" a voice called out, bringing with it Carol and Ludita. Dressed in colorful floral dresses, elderly undergarments and vinyl heeled pumps, it made Carol's heart skip a beat. In a good way, of course.
"Not at all, actually. Just happy." Carol answered and caught a smile from the couple. "I have my own place, I'm comfortable in my body and best of all, I have a community."
Carol and Ludita smiled.
"We're happy to hear that, Mabelle." Ludita cooed and Mabelle's cheeks went red. Composing herself, a smile formed on her face. Yes, this would be an amazing chapter of their lives.
