Visit Captain Ward

If Madeline can convince Captain Ward of the necessity of her being on the trip then the Overseer would have to accept her the Captain’s recommendation. It was literally her last chance to escape the vault. Madeline knew she had to make this work out, no matter the costs.

She headed for the security ward in her vault jumpsuit one from her younger days so it was nice and tight, the zipper just low enough to induce appropriate glances. She easily managed her way into the security ward with a simple smile or two from the youthful guards milling about, seemingly excited about the news of an expedition themselves. The rumor mill was running its course.

“Hey Thomas” Madeline motioned to a young guardsman she grew up with “Is Captain Ward in his office?”

“Hey Madeline” He smiled and his eyes zeroed straight to her chest, rested there then caught her eyes again—clearly caught he slightly laughed “ Ummm yeah he is. Though he is pretty busy. But you can go on in.”

“Thanks Thomas.” She smiled as she walked past him toward Captain Ward’s office.

Captain Ward was busy rifling through a computer terminal while shuffling data sheets and other various items on his desk attempting to multi task when Madeline made her way unannounced into his office.

He eyed her up and down, first as the natural instinct of a guard—then with the natural instinct of a man.

"Well hello there." Ward said, his smooth shaven angular features making him a handsome man--though in a rugged way with gray on the edge of his hair. His voice was uncommonly smooth, as if he had more to say. "What's this about?"

"Captain Ward..." Madeline paused for dramatic effect "I want to be on the mission outside the vault."

"Jesus Christ," Ward said a tone of disgusts at no one in particular "can no one keep their damn mouths shut in this place? Hell the Overseer might as well just go on over the PA system and tell everyone about the whole fucking thing."

"Look you know how things are in the vault." Madeline said trying to soften his mood.

"I know. That is why you aren't going on the mission. It's too dangerous anyway." Captain Ward stood up and shook his head resignedly as he moved to the front of his desk to lean against it casually.

"Exactly." Madeline said leaning forward, showing her cleavage such a bit more "Its dangerous--you will need someone with medical skills."

"We could be taking your father you know." Ward said, crossing his arms trying to not stare too hard at her well endowed body.

"You aren't. My father is too valuable here in the vault. You can't lose him. You and I both know that."

Ward smirked as if she had scored a point.

"Look Madeline--its gonna be rough out there. God knows what the fuck its even like. With the radiation and years of hard times we will be roughing it. Its nothing like the simulation pods." Ward said insistently.

"Well, there are some other...ways besides my medical skills that could prove...useful." Madeline moved closer to Ward, cocking her head to one side.

Ward's eyebrows raised and he gave a non-verbal clue of "go on" with a tilt of his head.

"Captain Ward," Madeline took in a deep breath then proceeded "I know you...ummm saw a video of me and Norman in the reactor storage unit."

"Oh wow," Ward said amazed "How did you see those!? I will kill the son of a bitch who hacked my compu--"

"No, no," Madeline said calming him, placing her hand on his arm sensually "the...Overseer showed me."

"Ah I see." Ward nodded his head slowly as if calculating his options.

"Look Captain Ward," Madeline said almost pleadingly "I HAVE to get out of this vault. I will do anything. Even what you saw Norman and me doing in the storage room on that video."

"Videos." Ward corrected "There was quite a lot of footage." He grinned coyly.

Madeline rolled her eyes and sighed disgustedly.

"You certainly are one fine piece of ass Madeline. I will tell ya straight." He said looking her up and down as if she were a product on a shelf. "I just don't think the Overseer will let it fly."

"You are the head of security! And the head of the expedition--you have more say that you know. Convince him that you need my medical skills." Madeline said urgently. He paused to think, his eyes narrowing.

"That is a solid selling point." He concurred. " Dr. Giles might raise a stink."

"He isn't a medical doctor. He's an engineer." Madeline said getting defensively. Dr. Giles had never cared for her father and that resentment somehow trickled also toward Madeline.

"Well..." He took a moment before speaking. "I am sure you can convince me of letting you on the mission." He smiled.

Madeline tossed her hair back and played the siren as she smiled. She knew there was no getting past doing the deed with Ward. She offered to be his play thing on the expedition.

"Oh I can be very convincing." Madeline said as she moved close to Ward, pressing her body ever so slightly against his, her arms on his shoulders.
