Visit Captain Ward

Madeline decided that she wasn't quite ready for shut eye just yet. After a little bit of tossing and turning she waited for the others to fall asleep before sliding out of her sleeping bag and off to Ward's position.

"Whats up?" He whispered in the dark. "Doctor Giles?" he asks.

"No," she whispered back "its Madeline."

"Oh hey, over here by this rock." he motioned in the pitch black as if it will help.

"I was thinking I could maybe thank you again for letting me come on this expedition." She smiled, though in the darkness it would have been hard for him to tell.

"Oh really?" He laughed softly "well I don't know if thats the best thing to do though. As much as I would love to. Someone has to watch out and besides--we tend to make a lot of noise." He grinned.
