Viridian Forest, here we come!

There was no way I was going to bypass something as legendary as the Viridian Forest!

There was a massive change of atmosphere the moment I walked through the main gates, the dense overgrowth of trees making it near impossible for light to peer through. The forest was dark and gloomy, and the sounds of wild Pokémon were all around me. Trudging through some of the brush, I was getting annoyed with every branch and twig that was presenting a challenge to me.

Eventually, I found myself in a dark clearing, almost in the center of the forest itself. Some light was peering through a small hole in the branches above, casting a beautiful golden ray of light here. Before I could really enjoy it, someone called out to me from nearby.

"Wonderful here, isn't it? The forest is naturally beautiful, much like you." the man said, approaching from the near undergrowth. Rotund and quite large, the man had on some kind of khaki uniform that I had never seen before.

"Thank you." I replied, blushing. Pokeballs on the man's belt meant he was a trainer however, and my adrenaline was already starting to rise. "Is there something I can help you with?"

The man, his eyes starting to wonder down my body, simply unclipped one of his Pokémon from his belt. "I think you know."

My eyes narrowed, my hands dropped to my belt. A trainer battle it is then!
