Viridian City

The night is dark and full of terrors as the two of you sprint frantically down the path. A swarm of Rattatas chase you, and your two Pokémon are desperately trying to protect you. Charmander is on your shoulder, wildly firing his new skill "Ember" into the swarm. And Pidgey is in the sky, swooping down to tackle any that get too close. A Rattata lunges onto your leg and you kick it off, stumbling as you keep running towards safety. The lights of Viridian city can be seen in the distance, just another 500 meters away. But Skye might not make it that far. She's holding her repurposed skirt together with one hand, and you can see her getting tired. Laboured breaths **** themselves out of her lungs and her hair is sweaty and stuck to her head. You're fine, mostly because you didn't get ass-fucked earlier, but also because of all your working out. Small explosions go off as each little fireball spat from your boy's mouth makes contact, and a yelp of pain swiftly follows the whoosh of a diving Pidgey. The swarm fills your ears with endless chittering as they slowly gain on the two of you. More and more Rattatas are crawling out of the grass on your flanks, and their eyes glow in the firelight as they try to surround you.

The gate connecting Viridian city and the grassland comes into view, and a new burst of vigour shoots into your veins. With rejuvenated energy, you speed up, your minor fatigue now wholly forgotten. But Skye doesn't have that ability. As you speed up, she slows down and trips over a Rattata.

"Ahh! Indy! Help!" She screams, and you turn around. Charmander sprays fire onto the Rattatas climbing her, and you drag her out. You toss her unceremoniously over your shoulder and start to run again. But that little setback had cost the two of you a lot of your lead. The swarm is nipping at your heels, and you can't run as fast while carrying Skye. The gate is 250 meters away, and it looks like your Pokémon journey's going to end the day it started.
