Vicky figures it out

Vicky’s face showed a panicked expression at what Brandon had revealed to her. He said that he and Ashley had given each other permission to have sex with other people while they were at the cabin. To make it worse, Brandon had just told her that he had a girl in mind. A worrisome thought entered her brain.

“Bran?” she hesitated.

“Yeah Vicky?”

“Is it me?” the blonde asked nervously.

“Would you be mad if it was?” Brandon asked her.

“BRANDON! I CAN’T DO THAT TO ASHLEY! SHE’S MY BEST FRIEND!” Victoria screamed.

Brandon laughed as a nearby squirrel ran up a tree to escape the wrath of the screaming girl.

“Why are you laughing?” she asked, almost ready to slap the boy.

“HAHAHA! Don’t worry, Vicky! It’s not you! HAHAHA! You should have seen your face! HAHAHA!” Brandon roared with laughter. “Sorry, I couldn’t resist!”

“You asshole! That’s not funny!” Vicky tried to sound mad, but after a few seconds, she was laughing too. “So, who is it?”

“You’re gonna think I’m crazy when I say this,” he admitted.

“Let me guess: Heather!”

“Nope! Lighter hair color.”

“Hmm! Hannah?”

“Nope! Darker!”

“Taylor?”

“Think ‘Gilligan’s Island’” he hinted to her.

“Hmm. MaryAnn had dark hair. And you’re not the type to go for an Old Bitty like Mrs. Howell, so that leaves Ginger. OH MY GOD! TELL ME IT’S NOT CHLOE?” Victoria answered.

“Shh! I don’t want anyone to hear you,” Brandon hissed.

“Wow! You’re right. That’s crazy talk, Brandon. Chloe is even shyer than Gavin and Zack. How are you going to pull that one off? HELL how do you know she’d even go for you?”

“I got a few ideas, but what I do know for certain is that she does have some kind of a crush on me. On more than one occasion, I’ve seen her looking at me like I’ve hypnotized her. And Heather told Ashley a while back that Chloe let it slip that she wants to date a guy like me,” Brandon informed his girl’s best friend.

“Really? I don’t believe it!”

“I swear it’s true,” he defended himself.

“No, I believe she’s got a small crush on you. I just don’t believe you’ll get her to go for you before our trip is over,” Victoria announced.

“What? You doubt my skills?” Brandon chuckled.

“I doubt the whole plan. Not just your skills. I think she’s too timid. In fact, I think this little scheme of yours is so doomed, that I’m willing to bet on it. If you can get Chloe to willingly hook-up with you AND talk to me about it, I will ask Gavin out on the spot!” the blonde stuck her hand out.

“You’re on!” Brandon replied as he took Victoria’s hand and shook on it.

“I can’t wait to see if you pull it off!”

“Me either. Now, I’m gonna start heading back to the cabin. Care to join me?” asked Brandon.

“Don’t you want to wait for Ashley, Heather, and Zack?”

“No. Best to let them finish. When Ashley gets her blood up, she can go at it for hours. I just hope she doesn’t put Zack in a coma!”

“You think she’ll hurt him?” Victoria concerned.

“God, I hope not! If he passes out, then I’ll have to carry his ass up this hill. That bastard is heavy!” Brandon laughed as he gathered his things.

Victoria slapped his shoulder as she put her clothes back on. In a few minutes the two friends started walking back to the cabin.
