Very interesting!

Grinning, Niafin took a good look at the mushroom. It was the most interesting thing she had found so far, and after walking for nearly half the day, she was starting to get hungry. Maybe this mushroom could help her deal with that?

She knew it wasn't smart to eat random wild mushrooms, but she was starting to feel rather hungry, and it was the only remotely edible thing she had found so far. Strange that she hadn't run into any animals, but that was beside the point. Bending over, she picked the mushroom up, examining it more closely. If only she knew more about this forest's wildlife... still, she couldn't ignore the hunger, so after giving it a sniff, she ate the mushroom whole, in a single bite, munching through it.

Once that was done, she looked at the sunlight, noticing that it was evening, and she would probably need a shelter for the night, so she set about looking for one, preferably some kind of cave where she could rest for a bit while being protected from the elements. It would also possibly protect her a bit if eating the mushroom turned out to be a very bad idea.

Still, who knows what could live in a cave, if there even was one in this immediate area, or in the forest at all. As such, she decided to not discriminate and act picky, and take the first half-decent shelter she finds while looking around.
