Chapter 6 by dr_wankenstein dr_wankenstein

What's through the door?

Velvet Shadows

Clara strode through the door, confident that her strategy had worked. The room beyond was surprisingly dark, the wooden floor strangely warm against her bare feet. A soft greasy smell hung in the air, and she could hear a faint roar, like the ocean.

Where were the clothes?

The door swung shut behind her with a click, making Clara jump. It wasn't there when she turned back to look for it. Only a haze of dense, velvety shadows, darkness extending in all directions.

Hold on a minute. Where exactly was she?

It wasn't totally dark. When Clara looked down she could make out the shape of her body, still clad in nothing but clinging, lacy, racy red knickers. Hesitantly, she put out an arm and started moving forward, in the direction of the noise.

It seemed to be getting louder as she approached. And there was something red and soft in front of her, a towering wall that vanished into the shadows as it rose. Clara's fingers brushed fabric. She blinked in surprise.

Then, all of a sudden, she worked out what the noise was.

A rumbling sound from the stage machinery, and the curtain parted, revealing what lay beyond. A sea of people, humans, aliens, giant heads and tentacle monsters, even a few Daleks up the back, in a futuristic auditorium with seats going all the way up to the astonishingly high roof.

A theatre. With thousands upon thousands of spectators all crammed in together, waiting for the show to start.

Clara let out a little squeak. She knew she should run, but she couldn't move. She was frozen. Thousands of eyes, light glands, cameras, echolocators, chemical reception nodes and other pieces of sensory equipment were all focused on her. She stood there, petrified, at centre stage, cupping her breasts, next to nude.

And, with a thin rustle of silk, the gravity field began to tug her knickers down.

What's next?
