Using the pool (Part 2).
The water was about one or two degrees above lukewarm, which made it perfect for the weather we’d been having. I rose from the bottom of the pool, shook my head and threw my hair back with my hand to avoid my bangs getting in the way.
“Ugh, you’re so hot!” Mila groaned and squealed as she jumped on my back, hugging me and shaking me. “You can’t just effortlessly make yourself look like a movie star.”
“You’ve heard of cute aggression,” Sarah said. “Now witness arousal aggression.”
“I get it, though,” Grace said. “He came out of the water with the power of 100 erotica male leads. I have probably read that scene before.”
“His ‘Eroge Protagonist’ skill is rank: EX,” Fern muttered, making Noelle snicker first before she burst out laughing.
Mila kissed my cheek before letting me go.
“How'd the recording go?” Diana asked me.
“Smoothly, or I wouldn’t be here,” I told her with a relieved smile.
“University, work, music, workout, housework, seven girlfriends…” Sarah began to count. “Are you sure you don’t want to cut down on a few things to do? There’s not enough time in a week for all you have to do.”
I nodded. “I was thinking about breaking up with a few of you.”
That got me two (harmless) smacks on the back of the head from Mila and Alice. Deserved, to be honest.
“Speaking of things to do,” Diana continued, “you’re all caught up on your chores and assignments, right?” I don’t know if I have any business feeling proud that the answer was a unanimous yes, but I did anyway. “Good, because I’m going to need help moving stuff inside tomorrow.”
“Isn’t that what your boyfriend is for?” Sarah said, smirking teasingly.
“Yes, but he’ll be busy moving furniture,” Diana agreed with a nod.
I'll be busy moving furniture, apparently.
Anyway.
Pool time was more fun than I thought it’d be, in the sense that we didn’t just… stand there in the water. Sarah got a volleyball from God-knows-where, probably from her parent's house since she went there yesterday, and we played at passing the ball between the eight of us until Grace’s arms got tired and Alice got thirsty. Diana joined the two in getting out of the pool and the three went into the house to get us all some drinks after drying up.
I closed my eyes and leaned back against the edge of the pool, taking a deep, relaxing breath. I could hear swimming and opened my eyes to see Sarah and Mila racing from one end of the pool to the other. Turned to the other end to see Fern and Noelle talking in whispers and acting coy. I grew curious, but decided to just give them their space. However, after some shared laughter, the two turned to look directly at me and decided they wouldn’t give me MY space.
They swam towards me, and if you had asked me to bet on one of the two for who would reach me first, I wouldn’t have hesitated to bet on Fern. After all, she’s a lot taller and more athletic. I was surprised that Noelle actually kept up incredibly well. Fern did reach me first, just not by much.
“Hey,” Fern said, giggling
“Hello,” I said, smiling at her. The small waves made the water reach over my shoulders for a moment.
“Ugh, you’re fast…” Noelle pouted as she reached us.
“And you’re a lot faster than I expected,” I told her.
“I used to visit my grandparents every summer until like… two years ago,” Noelle said. “They had a pool and my cousins always wanted to play. Where did you learn to swim?” she asked Fern.
“The beach. We used to live really close to one.” Fern giggled. “I used to swim to the buoys and back for fun, but it made my dad almost have a panic attack a few times because he couldn’t find me.”
I winced. My condolences, Mr. Carlos. I can practically feel the dread in every bone of my body at the thought of losing sight of a child at the beach.
“Yeah, laugh it up,” I said, shaking my head. “One day it may happen to you.”
Fern smiled wryly. “Hey, I apologized to him…”
“Um, speaking of…” Noelle began. “We didn’t… make it uncomfortable this morning when talking about… having kids, did we?”
Huh. She asked what I wanted to ask, only I was planning to do it when we were alone.
“Hm? Oh, no, don’t worry,” Fern said with a smile. “Come on, I knew you were all well into your relationship before I came into the picture. I just… didn’t know you were already thinking about kids.”
“We aren’t,” Noelle said. “Not exactly. We want them, eventually. But…”
I nodded. “The voice in my head just decided to share some important information all of a sudden and I couldn’t not bring it up.”
“Well, don’t take it the wrong way, but… that’s a relief,” Fern said, giggling.
“I bet,” Noelle giggled with her. “And speaking of bet… you won. Go ahead.”
“Hm? Won what?” I asked.
Without a word, Fern wrapped her arms around my neck and gave me a pretty sensual kiss on the cheek. “You’re a mind reader, aren’t you? Didn’t see this coming?” She asked, giggling.
I smirked, got my arms around her waist and grabbed her butt. “I can read minds, but I’m not a mind reader. There’s a difference.”
“Which is?” Noelle asked.
“If I was reading minds all the time I’d miss surprises like this.”
Fern licked her lips then leaned in to kiss me. She took the initiative and I didn’t take it from her. She slipped her tongue between my lips and moaned deeply when I squeezed her butt. After a moment, however, she pulled away, let go of me and turned around, leaning back against me… and purposefully pushing her butt against my crotch.
I got hard almost instantly, and while my erection was uncomfortable inside my swimsuit, I kept it there for the moment. I got my arms around Fern again, only this time one went to one of her tits and the other to her crotch. I freely groped her boob while teasing her clit over her bikini bottoms.
“Ahn…” Fern moaned sweetly.
Noelle giggled. “Well, I’ll leave you two to it. A loss is a loss.”
Fern swallowed hard. “N-No.” She reached out her hand to the redhead. I could feel the storm of questions and options in Fern’s mind. How to ask, how to say it, whether it was okay or not… But in the end, she went all out. “Come here. Kiss me?”
Noelle smirked, took Fern’s hand, swam closer and the two locked lips.
