You see Liza pocket six copper coins from the man and go back up to the bar and talk to Mary, as you focus on your stat window. Focussing on each of the question marks in your window, you see a 'Scan Rank Not Sufficient' lightbox appear.

"I don't even have basic information like that for free?" you complain to nobody in particular, slightly annoyed but mostly horny again already. Liza's display was something else...

You decide to use your skill again, this time on Mary.

Looking at Mary's stats, you're surprised to see her skill is in swordplay. However, looking at her low stats, you are not too surprised. Her low stats across the board mean she's likely quite a minor NPC. Working behind a tavern hasn't helped her develop too much.

You go over to the fountain as Liza suggested, take one of the slightly-stained tin mugs next to it, and grab a drink. The taste is as grimy and metallic as you can imagine drinking from a public fountain and public cup can be, so you put the drink down, and instead settle in to the tavern.
