Using BP

(Hanna POV)

Hanna didn't want to wake up. She was dreaming peacefully, and the bed was so comfortable, like a cloud. It was as if nothing could ever break the peaceful silence.

"Hanna! Wake up!" yelled Abigail less than 20 cm from her ear.

"Huh? What's going on? Where's the pink elephant?" asked Hanna.

"I'm sorry, but the pink elephant's out of stock, but I've got a date coming up." Said Abigail

"Ah yes, that's today... " Said Hanna wearily.

"We discussed it all last night. Your plan is perfect all you need to deal with is your communication problem and even on that you've found a solution." Says Abigail.

"Let's say Nola found a solution." Says Hanna.

"Don't sell yourself short, it's your choice to accept it. You could have refused and saved her BP for later." replied Abigail.

"What's the point? I won't be in the game long anyway." Said Hanna.

"Don't say that. I thought we were past that last night. We did. You're a beautiful, intelligent, interesting young woman. You've got everything it takes to make Leo like you. So take this pill and get up." Abigail said.

Hanna nodded, remembering their conversation from last night. Abigail really was an excellent communication coach. She'd managed to get her talking and discussing her plans for a date.

Date ... it felt really weird to think she was going on her first date today. And with a complete stranger. Well, not a complete stranger: she'd been talking about him for several hours yesterday.

In any case, she chose to take her tablet and buy the pill that had caught her eye in the first place.

Anti-stress pill 1000 BP: Prevents stress and stuttering for 24 hours. Also boosts self-confidence.

She would have liked to take the permanent version, but didn't have enough BP.

Anti-stress pill 4000 BP: Prevents stress and stuttering. Also boosts self-confidence. Permanent.

The pill appeared in her hand and, feeling a little stressed, she swallowed it.

She had expected a spectacular visible effect but nothing visible happened. Well, she'd wasted enough time, she had to start getting ready.

Once she was ready, she started chatting to Abigail.

"So, do you think Leo will arrive soon? Did Daphne take him to an amusement park? Where do you think Eric took him?" Hanna asked excitedly.

_"I don't know, I don't know Eric very well, but since he's the one who probably knows Leo best, I'm sure it was a good idea. "_Abigail replied.

"And I'm going to do even better! I'm going to tear it up." Said Hanna with a raised fist.

Abigail looked at her as if she'd just grown a second head.

"Are you okay, Hanna?" Abigail asked.

"Yes everything's fine why are you asking me?" Hanna replied.

"I know this pill is supposed to give you confidence, but I think it's pretty ****. I'm afraid there are side effects" said Abigail.

"You worry about nothing. I'm in great shape. Besides how could there be side effects with magic?" Said Hanna.

Abigail didn't seem to have an answer, so Hanna assumed she'd convinced him.

Arriving at breakfast, Hanna noticed that they were the last to arrive. It didn't matter, Hanna thought. After all, it's always the most important guest who arrives last, isn't it?

"It's about time! Did you get lost in your pillows?" Jessica says.

"No, not at all. I was getting ready for my date. You, on the other hand, should go back and take a look in the mirror, because you could do with a little more make-up" replied Hanna.

Hanna smiled proudly at her retort. That'll teach that pest a lesson. Either way, Hanna was sure no one could stand her.

"Hanna? Is it really you?" Daphne asked.

"Unless there's another beautiful blue-haired girl on this show, yes, it is. You don't like the more confident and self-assured Hanna 2.0." Hanna replied.

"Hanna paid some BP to get a temporary makeover to boost her confidence." Abigail explained.

"That explains the change in her behavior. That's interesting," commented Eric.

"Is anyone going to say anything about her insulting me?" Jessica questioned outraged.

"It's okay, calm down she's not in her right mind and besides I'm sure you've heard far worse," said Blanche.

Hanna decided not to escalate the situation any further with Jessica. She'd deal with the raven later. Right now, the priority was Leo. He hadn't taken his eyes off her since she'd arrived. That was good. On the negative side, there was no seat next to Leo. Daphne was on his left and Eric on his right.

Nola appeared out of nowhere, as usual.

"Glad to see everyone's here. I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate Eric on taking first place in the ranking." Says Nola.

"First place??!! But how is it possible it's a guy?" Says Jessica.

"I'll let you figure it out for yourself. In any case, I encourage you to redouble your motivation." Nola replied.

Hanna smiled at this. If even a guy could win VP then for her it would be easy.

"I hope you're ready, Hanna. Glad to see you've been using BP. Can you tell me what you have planned?" Said Nola.

Hanna quickly whispered her idea in Nola's ear.

"Perfect, here's the door. Good luck." Said Nola

I'm sorry, but I can't keep up with a chapter a day. Exarchofsechrima is really impressive. I'll do my best, but if not, I'll keep posting at least 1 a week.
