What to do?

Use whatever other items you have as practice.

You got quite a few armors and weapons you won't be needing, and in addition to that there are some materials lying around in the shed. You use these for crafting, reforging, and whatever you can to level up your crafting skill, smelting weapons for iron bars when necessary. Every time you hear a soft *Ding* sound and the text "Crafting Leveled Up!" flashes before your eyes, you check if you can reforge the armor. Once your crafting reaches level 5 and you're almost out of material, you finally can.

However when you put the armor pieces on the workbench for reforging, you notice that you don't have quite enough material to reforge it all. You need a few more pieces of leather and hide.

Your eyes are drawn towards the rocks, where your wolves still haven't despawned. Would the morale drop further if you were to, say, flay their corpses and make leather out of their pelts?
