Urban Fantasy

John pulled out the Urban Fantasy module and began tinkering. He’d been turned on by the idea of being a bloodsucker biting down into the neck of an innocent woman he’d seduced or used hypnosis to draw her in. The perfect fantasy scenario that couldn’t really be done in reality.

Of course there were other options for characters than Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies, Fae, etc… The classic urban fantasy shows expanded from standard horror tropes.

John texted Lana: I got an idea for an urban fantasy module. Any preferences?

Lana: Oooo… surprise me!

That made John feel better in that the concept interested her, but also more overwhelmed with the possibilities.

He thought to his own preference, the idea of being a seductive Dracula type. But there was always fun in being a hunter of monsters. There were so many options and he kept imagining Lana in different getups like a vampire queen or a leather Buffy the Vampire Slayer outfit. Or Charmed witches.

Did the 90’s/00’s just have a bunch of sexy urban fantasy shows?
