Update 17/12/2023

Hello followers/readers of Alexis,

My name is Max, Alexis' science friend and Alexis has asked me to give you all a quick update.
So, there is some bad news, as you may have noticed Alexis hasn't written anything recently, this is due to an incident that has occurred.
Alexis had an accident and that accident uncovered a medical issue that was hiding in her body and making her sick on a regular basis.
She has been in the hospital for just short of a month and the prospect is that she won't be back at it for at least another month.
I haven't had much time to chat with her because I am just a friend and not direct family, but she did ask me to let you all know that she is sorry for not writing on the story and that she can't be back sooner. (I summarized, what she actually said was extensive and some of it didn't make sense to me)
I will be honest she feels more guilty about not writing than about making her family worry, which seems typical for her.
I am not the correct person to take over her writing and I already had to snoop around to find the password to her laptop to send the message, I don't feel comfortable looking for unpublished work. (With her consent I would like to add, so mods please don't block her account just because of this update, she would be devastated.)

To all those who have enjoyed her work up until now, know that she is itching to come back and hasn't forgotten about you. Before the incident she would often text me whenever she hit a view milestone and she would be all giddy the next day, so thank you for being a light in her life.

I will update you again next month if she doesn't do it herself.
