The common room is crowded with everyone inside, but it still has the cozy feel you remember from your brief visit. Addie busies herself with bowls of stew as everyone gets settled, and once everyone is served she sits down across from you. Folding her hands on the table, she glances around before speaking.

“So, you’ah back, 'n with a big group this time! What brings ya here? I know it’s not just the bloody pleasure of my company.”

You chuckle. “Not exactly, but your company is a bonus. To put it bluntly, I’m going to take down Niran.”

Addie looks at you curiously. “I don’t think ya av nearly enough people ta storm the bloody capital. So yah plan must be more complicated than that.”

You nod. “It is. But what I wanted to ask of you, is permission to camp my forces here. I want to use this area as a base of operations.”

Addie glances out the window, nodding. “Actually, that would be perfect. It seems like our secret heah is out. The last few refugees comin' through av said there’s someone comin' here, from the bloody capital. Calls himself ‘The Undying’ or somethin' like that.”

You share a look with Melora. “Hmm. We’ve had a run in with him before. The name is accurate, as far as I can see. We’ll set up camp on that side of town, then. Anything trying to get to you has to go through us.”

Addie smiles gratefully. “That’s a relief. Now then, ya av some tales ta tell! Most of these people I recognize, but I’d like ta know more. Fahkin' bloody oath mate, there’s a lot of ya!”

You laugh, and tell the winding tale of what’s happened since you were last here. The girls chime in where needed, and Addie listens intently, not asking questions. You do see her surprise when you explain Alex’s change, and she finally breaks her quiet as you explain what Rahu was.

“You’ah tellin' me that the bloody literal Great One is sittin' in my inn? Not only that, but he’s backin' ya? I guess I’m glad I’m on yah side!”

You smile. “Former Great One, but yes. Niran is a bigger threat than anyone realized. We should probably get set up now, though, I imagine everyone is getting restless.”

Addie smiles. “Go ahead, ya av big responsibilities now, after all! But hey, if ya find yourself with some free time…ya know where I am. I wouldn’t mind a bit mawah of wat 'appened last time!”

She winks at you, and the girls all laugh. You can’t help but laugh yourself. “I’ll definitely keep it in mind, Addie.”
