Unusual morning routine

It was the day after tomorrow. Kumiko sat up, stretched her arms for couple of seconds, and stepped out of bed. As she took her morning shower, she thought back about what happened the past two days.

First, there was that horrible Monday. She ended up fighting several of her villains, which thanks to the fact that her clothes were stolen by Mitsuki and Tenko, she ended up doing in the nude. She still hasn't found the courage to look up "Magical Girl Kumiko" online (Kiyoshi did love to tease her by reading news articles about Magical Girl Kumiko's latest outing out loud).

And then there was yesterday. There was a massive breakout in Calamity City Maximum Facility Prison, meaning all of the villains she fought the day before were already out on the street. She searched with the local police, but aside of some small time crooks, they found nobody. Even more curiously, Chimera and The Guardian Devil were nowhere to be seen. Normally they would've been on this case as well.

Now it was Wednesday. Her plan was to go to school, and afterwards continue her search after. So after she got dressed, she walked over to the kitchen table.

A empty kitchen table. Neither her brother or her parents were there. She walked upstairs, making sure none of them overslept. But their beds were completely empty.

"Kitty, do you know where everyone is?" Her question was answered with silence. "Kitty? Where are you? Are you still mad at me? I'm sorry, but you know that your stomach can't handle salmon. Someone had to stop your endless gluttony!"

She walked downstairs, noticing a small envelope.

...addressed to Magical Girl Kumiko!

She ripped the letter open, reading...

"Magical Girl Kumiko, Guardian of Justice, Keeper of peace, the selfless Humanitarian, and Vanquisher of Evil. By now you have noticed your empty home. That is because I have graciously taken them and Chimera and The Guardian Devil to my island lair on a nice 'vacation'. If you want to see them again, as I know you will, you will come to my island, the coordinates of which you can find in this letter. Be quick."

Kumiko crumpled the letter, put on her costume, and left for the island.
