Unique misunderstanding

Within the illusion barrier shortly after Skyler left

Emily sighed softly. "Shady is not going to like this." Cyanis and Nepeta looked to Emily, but only Cyanis spoke. "Why? He clearly doesn't want to be around us anymore." Emily lifted a brow. "Like it or not, she is still worried about his life. Whatever's left of it." She walked out in front of them before looking back to them. "At least it's fun to hunt him down." Right after she spoke, she vanished, having left the illusion barrier to track down Skyler. Nepeta leaned gently against Cyanis's shoulder. "Why did he lie to us?"

Cyanis leaned gently against Nepeta while wrapping an arm around her waist. "I, I don't know. Is this what a sexually confused man does?" Nepeta blinked twice while looking into Cyanis's eyes. "Sexually confused?" Cyanis nodded slowly, obviously trying to convince herself. "It is the only reason he wouldn't like my touch. He must be gay and hasn't come to terms with it yet." After listening to this absurdity, Rodovar cupped his right hand against his right temple. "You've never heard a heartfelt confession of pain before, have you?"

Cyanis and Nepeta glanced up to Rodovar, but only Cyanis spoke. "Not from other races, no. That story was too ridiculous to be real. It had to be fake. Right?" Nepeta and Cyanis look to one another as if to reassure each other. Rodovar let out a loud groan as he felt like his brain was about to fry. He started to rub his temples gently. "He's new to the Abyss. He has no reason or cause to lie." He smirked. "Besides, if he wanted to suck dick. He missed a good opportunity to try and suck mine earlier." His smirk grew into a full grin. "I'm not gonna lie. Every woman that has seen it wanted to worship it." Cyanis and Nepeta both cringed at that thought before laughing hard. Nepeta fell backwards with laughter.

After a short laugh, Cyanis smirked. "I'm pretty sure he could find better dick than yours." Nepeta nodded in agreement. "Yeah, he isn't hard on the eyes. Unlike you." Rodovar let out a puff of air. "That's unlikely." He turned around to head inside. "Perhaps you should go look for him too. Unless you're too worried about admitting you misunderstood him." His voice trailing off with each step. Cyanis stuck out her tongue as Rodovar walked away. "I think we will." She looked to Nepeta. "Shall we head out?" Nepeta had a big smile upon her face as she gently nodded. "Yep."

Back to Skyler's perspective

Skyler was surprised to see Emily's score tick up to 5. A few minutes after, Cyanis's and Nepeta's score shot up to 25 whereas Rodovar's score ticked up to 15. Skyler gently scratched the back of his head. 'That's weird. I wonder if something's wrong with the relationship system.' His eyes glance down at his feet as he walked toward the nearest restaurant he could find. 'I should just stop trying. People tend to misunderstand me anyway.' As this thought ran through his head, his heart sank a little more. - 1 Hp

Skyler lifted a hand over his chest as another sting of pain was felt within. - 10 Hp He decided to pick up the pace, jogging for about two minutes before having to slow down. He was about half way to his destination when Emily called out to him. "Where do you think you're going? Shady isn't done with you yet." He let out a sigh, but he didn't stop or turn around. "Ah, that makes sense. She doesn't miss me. Just her fragile toy. Well, I'm not interested in going back." She started to giggle. Her score ticked up to 6. "Oh come now, you've made it clear that you don't care about your own life. So, why don't you be a good boy and let her have fun with you instead?"

Skyler felt his anger rising, but just as he felt it about to explode another pain radiated within his chest. - 2 Hp He winced before letting out a breath. "She doesn't need me anymore. She has Talys. He's clearly better than me in many ways." He paused, stopping for a moment as a weak smile formed upon his lips. "She'll forget me before long. Just like the twins." It was at this moment that Cyanis's voice called out to him. "I wouldn't count on that Skyler. You're stuck with us." Nepeta voice soon followed. "Yeah."

Emily lifted a brow. "Oh? I thought you two gave up on him. I was just suggesting that he should come back and become Shady's full time toy. It would make them both happy." Cyanis scoffed. "As if. We'll be taking care of him from now on." Skyler's head turned slightly to the side. 'Are they really arguing about who gets to take care of me?' He turned around, but was surprised to see two unfamiliar faces. The first girl had a striking resemblance to Cyanis. The main differences were her skin, hair, eye, and lip color. She had healthy peach skin, fiery red hair, deep blue eyes, and naturally pink lips.

The second girl had a striking resemblance to Nepeta, but her hair, skin, and eye color were different. She had healthy tan skin, golden blonde hair, and green/brown hazel eyes. Skyler blinked several times as his brain processed this new information. "What's all this about anyway? I thought you all had it with me." Cyanis and Nepeta bowed their heads, but only Cyanis spoke. "Rodovar explained that we misunderstood what you meant. Um.." When they looked up, Cyanis's cheeks were bright red. "I thought perhaps you were in the closet and didn't like women."

Skyler's jaw dropped slightly as he tried to think of a response to that. He licked the inside of his upper lip after closing his mouth as the pure absurdity of this situation ran through his mind. He was surprised by how far his words had been taken out of context. "No, just no. To be clear, I love breasts. They are beautiful and look so fun to play with. So no, I'm not gay or bi." His stomach let out a soft growl. "I am not sure what other kind of proof you'd like, but right now I'm too hungry to explain things in detail."

Skyler turned around and started to walk off. "You're all welcome to join me if you want, but I'm not going back." Cyanis, Emily, and Nepeta started to follow after him, but began whispering something amongst themselves. He couldn't hear what they were saying, but it had him worried. What were they talking about? Perhaps how to seduce him or check how straight he actually was? Hmm, what type of food should he aim for? Fish, chicken, burgers, Chinese, or Thai?
