The Servant's POV

At last, I found an opening, and with it, I clawed through the shadows, pulling my body into her room. I said nothing, but my master's words, cold and sharp, flowed from my lips.

"You cannot protect him from his fate."

She groaned a sigh of fatigue, it seemed, and sat down in a chair. She lazily conjured a crystal glass full of red wine, downing it in one drink.

"Oh, fuck off already. You can't kill me, and you can't get him. You failed, Kilgarrah."

His words flowed again, with vitriol so potent I could almost taste it.

"Your actions will cost you everything, Helena. Just as they did all those years ago."

The devil's eyes burned, literally, with rage at his comment. Her grip tightened, shattering the empty glass.

"I will tear your avatars to pieces. Each and every one of them will pay the price of serving you. I will personally ensure that your promise never holds true. I will ensure that you spend the rest of eternity rotting in the Everdark."

My master's unnatural voice spilled forward in overlapping laughter, cackling at Samara's confidence.

"I envy your confidence, Helena. But it's regrettable that your's is fueled by ignorance. You have no idea the scale of my plans. The things I have set into motion cannot be stopped. Even by the likes of you."

She curled her fingers into a claw, a ball of purple fire appearing in her palm.

"You have 5 seconds to leave, before I turn your avatar to pile of ashes."

"Next time, Helena."

At my master urging, I snapped my fingers, sinking into the magical shadows that pooled at my feet.
