Underwater Ruins

The night they left, a storm had stretched across the horizon. Leaving behind a scientific experiment that would possibly reshape this land. For better or for worse, it's too late to change the fate TsukiNo had influenced in the tribe after her first miscarriage. Syet was the only person that brought themselves to support and love her through the hardships. She was indeed to true mate that didn't see her mutation as a problem.

From then on, the plan was simple. Held secret between her and Cirre. What TsukiNo had not considered what her other children felt about them leaving. Drius, her very first born that she regretfully neglected accepted her in all. What a way to make an aching mother cry, pleased that he accepted to become pregnant in his now permanent boy womb.

They swam out into the deep depths, first making a stop within the abyss. Down below the crevasse, ancient ruins stood tall and strong. Large columns stretched from the sea floor up to the rocky ceiling above. The abyss lead down straight to the ruins.

TsukiNo and Syet have been here numerous times. Ceramic walls held strong with marble flooring stretching to an enormous entry way. Volcanic vents, small in size, were casting faint glows of red that lead the way to the structure. Two statues stood outside the entry, but wield massive swords and eight wings stretched across their backs. They would a hood over their heads, making their face invisible to the sight.

"What the... What is this place..."

Cirre spoke curiously, feeling incredibly small compared to the statues. This is her first time down this far in the ocean, to say she was shocked was an understatement. Surely Drius felt the same.

"Atlantis.. They called themselves the Sentinel Primes. "

Golden warriors that's influence many planets and the very souls they chosen for reincarnation and transmigration. They had homed this planet before, but for reasons they couldn't find here, they left. Both of them had already collected what treasures this temple held. It was placed in a magic air pocket TsukiNo had made some time back while planning their escape. It consisted of three large bags, each one thrown to Cirre and Syet.

Treasure like weapons and knowledge, her recovery spells worked miracles on books she find in a library. A life preserving fungus was discovered over the waters and leather bound texts. Keeping them together without devolving away within the harsh waters. TsukiNk believes this mysterious race had the influence on keeping this knowledge alive for the case any explorers came down to discover their holy place.

There wasn't a fourth bag, simply for the fact they didn't account for a fourth member to join them. TsukiNo approached up to Drius, kissing him gently on the lips. A soft pat on his cheek as she smiled up at him.

"May the gods grant fortune over my children, of you my son. I may have something you'll like, but for now, let's find a new place to live. I'll mother you up like how I should have done for all these months."

Everyone was ready to leave. The two parents however bowed and gave a prayer to the statues. Thankful for the knowledge of science and much of this world in its current state. Like TsukiNo had hypothesized before, the dungeons were key places in unlocking the history of this world followed by gaining more power.

A sick and twisted game by the gods. The Sentinel Primes. Syet and her mate were willing to play, but on their terms and by their own rules. Subjecting a brand new behavior of her formal tribe into a world that disagrees with their ideology. Serves as a distraction as they rework themselves in a new location.

Out of the abyss they go, they begin their journey west. Having to travel a thousand nautical miles before reaching the next piece of land. Unless a volcanic island emerges along the trail, they were seeking out a multi-terrain area to call home. Searching for powerful creatures for their Cirre to mate when matured along the way.
