Lex's mind was desperately searching for the answer to get him out of this situation alive, but all he could think of was a possibility. If he dumped most of his points into Strength increasing it to 100 he might have a chance to survive the next set of ticks. He needed to improve his odds more, but how? That was when two thoughts came to him. If he increased his Endurance and Wisdom to 75 he might get another bonus to improve his chances further. However, if that wasn't enough he would have his ghoul leap toward him to get to him faster. His odds weren't great, but it was better than nothing.

Lex's eyes closed as he sent a mental command for his ghoul to leap into the air towards him. Just as its feet began to leave the ground, he used another mental command to spend 49 points in Strength, increasing it from 51 to 100. This was at the same time he spent 5 points in Endurance and 9 points in Wisdom, increasing Endurance from 70 to 75 and Wisdom from 66 to 75. Leaving him with 2 skill points for later use. He was surprised to see dismay, he only saw one notification appear in the center of his view.

He used this opportunity to cast Summon ghoul on a nearby corpse behind him, reducing the spell cost by another 50%. 100 - 50% = 50, 50 - 50% = - 25 Mp A new exclamation flashed that he ignored.

Lex turned to face the remaining ten demons, but instead of facing him. They ran away, swarming around the huge fire to beg Apophis for his aid. Apophis let out an angry hiss. "Pathetic, but as a reward for not fleeing, I will lend you a drop of my power. Bec~come one and s~serve my will. Now, kill Lexx." A green and purple light surrounded the imps, pulling them together into a new much much larger form. This new creature looked like the previous imps and had five serpent-headed tails. What made this creature worrisome was simply how big it was. It was clearly over seven feet tall. Lex's eyes widened upon seeing the much larger imp and cast Observe on it while backing up.

Lex dropped to his knees when the pain coursed through his body. His breathing grew heavier as he rose to his feet. However, it wasn't long before those hands began to stroke the imp's dick. This was turned into a horrifying sight when it started to run at Lex once more. It's hard dick was bobbing up and down while leaking precum with every step. Lex turned slightly to see if he could cast Summon ghoul on any corpse to reduce its cost, but there wasn't any in sight. He decided to cast Summon ghoul behind the imp, forcing a ghoul to appear from nowhere before it tried to attack the imp, but didn't do any damage. - 100 Mp

Although the imp didn't even notice the ghoul as it continued to run at Lex, two of its five serpent-headed tails spotted the ghoul and ripped it apart within half a second. Lex lifted up his shield just as the imp vanished from sight and reappeared behind him, punching him hard enough to send him flying through the air. 270 - 50% = 135, 135 - 40% = 81, - 81 Hp (35 Overkill)

Within that moment, a red light appeared along the edge of Lex's field of vision. However, he noticed something in the corner of his eye while in the air. Unfortunately, within that moment, he couldn't think of anything. His mind was filled with images from his life as it flashed before his eyes...

Back inside Lex's castle

Chasan, Goren Ulayra, and several areas throughout the land, watched as Lex was sent flying through the air. This couldn't be happening, could it? Chasan looked to his sister with misty eyes. A clear emotional pain was eloquently painted upon his face. He looked back to the image before him and whispered. "You can do this my Lord. I believe in you." At the same time, a silence fell over the land. Within that moment, everyone who wasn't fighting or already praying, dropped to their knees to pray.
