Under the desk.

Liara bolted towards the desk. It was somewhat behind the door so if Aethyta peered into the room she couldn't see them and it was also far away enough that if she entered the room, she likely wouldn't notice them when she left.

Liara pushed her bondmate under the desk first forcing her onto her back then climbing on top of her in a position they probably would have enjoyed a lot more under different circumstances. The pair stared at one another for a bit, hearts almost bursting. Yet at the same trying not to smile at the absurdity of their situation.

"A second guest bedroom?" Aethyta complained, "do you really need two?"

The bondmates' hearts stopped as Aethyta walked around the room.

"Kind of boring too just a bed and bathroom. If I ever have to stay here, I'm definitely taking the first-floor guest room."

She hadn't noticed the desk or at least wasn't giving it much thought. But if she took greater interest in it, they were screwed!

"Really hope the master bedroom isn't this much of a disappointment."

Then she walked out of the room and the pair took a sigh of relief.

"Ok what do we do now?" Liara asked her lover laying beneath her. Something that was definitely keeping her heart rate from returning all the way back to normal.

"Sounds like your father was heading to our room. That should give us the best opportunity to get back downstairs."

"Alright but we need to hurry. There's a 50/50 chance father finds our bedroom equally as boring."

Quickly clamoring off one another. Shepard and Liara made their way out of the guest room and into the hall. They confirmed that Aethyta was still in the master bedroom and started stealthily moving towards the stairs. They were nearly there.

"Oh my God! What do you think you're doing?" A voice called out. Shepard froze at the unmistakably sound of her mother's voice. "Why are you walking around naked when you know there's someone else here? Are you some kind of exhibitionist?"

Shepard's face turned as red as her hair. She'd started that morning embarrassed at the prospect of being naked but getting called out by her own mother made it truly humiliating. The shame and regret were unexplainable. Liara was equality mortified but likely more at the prospect of explaining to Captain Hannah Shepard how she had **** her daughter into public nudity.

"Do you hear me Aethyta!" Hannah yelled into the master bedroom, "explain yourself!"

"Oh, calm down," Aethyta replied standing naked in the middle of the room, clothes pooled at her feet. "I was looking around and noticed there's a hot tub in here, so I decided to try it out. Nothing to get worked up about."

Hannah did not seem to accept that answer. "If you wanted to use the tub then why not get undressed in the bathroom. You know where the tub is."

"This is where I was when I noticed the tub and decided I wanted to try it. What difference would walking over before taking my clothes off make. Either way I'm naked."

"Well. Could you at least close the door before stripping down," Hannah exclaimed feeling they were having two separate conversations.

"Goddess you're uptight." Aethyta replied placing her hands on her hips. She had made no effort to cover herself throughout this conversation and was making no moves to shut the door as Hannah requested.

"Well excuse me for trying to uphold the integrity of my daughter's apartment!" Hannah yelled closing the door. She closed her eyes and pinched her nose in frustration. She couldn't believe this wild Matriarch was the father of the sweet and innocent Liara T'soni her daughter had told her so much about. As she tried to get her mind straight Hannah thought she heard footsteps. She looked down the hall to her right, but it was empty. She assumed it was nothing and headed back downstairs.

"Hanging around naked how vulgar."
