Two Births

The two settings were very different. One birth, at the nicest hospital in the city, cool, clean, sedate. Jamaal holding Elizabeth's hand, coaching her through the last push, as a new life was brought into the world, Jamaal King, Jr.

The other birth, in the worst part of town, overheated, decrepit, noisy. Jada's other many kids from many fathers milling out, about Douglas for snacks. Jada manhandling Douglas throughout, occasionally squeezing and tugging at his balls, locked in chastity. And finally, Jada and Douglas's first biracial baby -- Douglas Lancaster, Jr.
