Chapter 12 by jaymac1337 jaymac1337

Huh?!

Turned Tables

My breathing grew shallower as I finally comprehended the situation I was in: Another Reality Ring, and it worked on a man. The librarian must have mentally commanded me to remain seating. I couldn't tell anything had happened to me, and that terrified me, but at least I had felt something odd when I was answering her questions honestly. Even getting me to follow her down here must have been the Ring's doing. She was inches from me know, her steely gaze peering over the curve of her bust. Even in my captive state, I caught myself trying to stare my way through the taut fabric of her ill-fitting dress, and my adrenaline fueled panic left my libido unchecked. I shook the thoughts of lap dancing from my head as my captor continued to speak.

"Now that all our cards are on the table, how about we cooperate?" Her offer was gentle but her voice was stern, a skill she undoubtedly developed as a librarian. "My name is Rhea." She said as she tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Her pale neck was long and slender beneath the raven curtain, unblemished until I could get my mouth on it. No, gotta focus. One wrong move and she could use her Ring on me. She had offered her hand to shake.

"Delighted to meet you, ma'am." I replied curtly, ignoring the offered hand. Surprisingly, Rhea smiled.

"There's no need to be rude."

"Quite the opposite. I'm showing respect to my elders."

"I don't think it's fair to call me that, thanks to you. Though I'll now have to take on a new identity to continue my research, maybe a grad student working on the eternal thesis paper." As Rhea started planning her future, she turned her back to me, pacing towards the cluttered desk. She turned back to me, resting her pert rear on its edge. She crossed her arms limply beneath her chest, almost a subtle hug as she was lost in thought. "Ok, I think we're basically even." She concluded with a nod, meeting my gaze once again. "So what's your name?" she probed. I stiffened in my seat, prepared to resist my honest compulsion.

"Peter." I responded. Fuck.

"Nice to meet you." She smiled. "Now, would you mind making me able to see Regina?" Another surprise, but I couldn't lose my cool.

"Alright, but only if you let me out of this chair." I demanded.

"I had tried to before." She chuckled, extending her hand once more for a shake. I felt my face get hotter as my pride had gotten the better of me. Avoiding her gaze, I take her small hand in mine, and with a hidden strength, she lifted me to my feet. My ass had never felt such sweet release. I did a few squats to get my blood flowing again, while Rhea waited for my end of the bargain. I flexed my hand as I used it on her once again. There was hardly any sign of a change, but Rhea's gaze immediately pivoted to where Jeanie was shyly shuffling her feet. She looked like a child about to be reprimanded. "Hey, Regina. Never thought I'd see you again."

"Actually...it's Jeanie this time." The shackled girl admitted. She wrung her hands in front of her chest with a shy smile.

"Well, I guess that's better than 'Slut' or 'Bitch'." Rhea praised. Her attention returned to me, and I feared what her scrutinizing gaze might find. "We better get a move on. The Rings have been together for too long." She swiftly turned to her cluttered study, picking up objects seemingly at random and storing them in a sturdy, well-used shoulder bag. While she was distracted, I looked to Jeanie for any explanation about this powerful woman. Jeanie had her sight locked on Rhea, seemingly frightened to lose track of her. Rhea finished her packing and approached a bare wall, placing her palm against the cold stone. With a quick muttering and a glow from her hand, the cobblestone shifted and revealed another hidden passageway, this time with stairs rising steeply into darkness. Rhea didn't look back, only gestured for the two of us to follow.

Should Peter comply?
